The fact that he won’t even define amnesty says it all. I wonder if THAT word is baked in to his “conversation”.

There’s a starting point for immigration that a strong majority of Americans would support. What you do is start building a fence first. Then you beef up the he border patrol and untie their hands and arm them better. IfWhile you do that you immediately deport all illegals who has committed a felony. Lastly, you make it as difficult as possible to live in the US as you can. No drivers license’s should be issued. E-verify needs teeth so that illegals don’t get jobs. Illegals should have not have rights comparable to citizens. Cops should be able search them at will. You will then see them leave in a mass exodus.

That is my single objection to Cruz....his stand on illegals. He has said he is for path to legal status for illegals. Which means, the next democrat admin will give them voting rights saying ^it is unAmerican to deny voting to legal immigrants^ etc etc.

It is condescending to not answer. I even read where he said that Americans don’t want to have that conversation. Who is he talking about? Not Trump supporters!

I find all this to be very dishonest.
No “conversation.” There’s nothing to talk about. The American people want illegals GONE. Period. Anything allowing them to stay in this country is amnesty. Citizenship, non-citizenship, voting, not voting, it’s all just smokescreens. Anything short of deportation is amnesty.
