I love Breitbart and wish I could go there without all the ads and pop ups! BTW speaking of such...FR needs our support to avoid becoming one of those annoying sites. If you haven't contributed yet please do so today. FR is a great conservative resource and we should all be willing to pitch in to keep it available and pop up free.

I hated to do it, but I finally had to install Adblock because I couldn’t even get to the articles at Breitbart anymore.

Install Ghostery (free program) and set it to stop all the ads/pop ups.

Won't help with the Freeperthon but will allow you to enjoy Breitbart too.

Try "Adblock"

A Freeper on another thread recommended it and I found that it does a great job for me.

It works well and with one click you can turn it on or off for a single page or for everything.

I used to have a terrible problem with Hot Air & all the crap that popped up (ads, etc.) - it would crash my old laptop - freeze it up. When I got a new laptop, the tech I talked to told me for sure to use Adblock Plus. Most viruses and bad stuff come on board via ads on websites (so he said). On my new laptop, I use Adblock Plus & Hot Air is no problem and neither are sites like Breitbart - don’t have any trouble at all & I can actually read the articles. I use Firefox, but Adblock Plus is available for Android, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Maxthon, Opera, Safari and Yandex. Anyway, it works great if you can use it on your machine.

I tried to open the comments on Discus (I don't Facebook) at Breitbart and got a little spinning disk and a "Taking too long?" link to reload. Didn't work.

The last time I did try to post on Breitbart I got a message that I was blocked from posting. I e-mailed asking why a couple of times, but no reply.

I can’t access the website with Pale Moon because it overwhelms my adblock.

To go to BB, I use Chrome with adblock. It opens completely in less than 3 seconds.

Try AdBlockPlus....I did and it has made a world of difference. Easy to load.....you can research it online and decide for yourself, but I love it.....ads were the obstacle for me to read many sites, including Brietbart.
