Rev Bacon picks up on a very interesting detail. THEY WERE NOT USING AR PLATFORM WEAPONS. Note media sells AR “style” – they’re manipulating the narrative – here’s why:

Thanks to a Daily Mail Article (HERE) we find a close up picture of a spent shell casing from the San Bernadino attackers:

Look at the taper at the base of the brass.

It's definitely 5.56 x 45...Ar-15.

Plenty of people, me included, own a AK74. I have two. And they do make an AR upper for the 5.45x39.

Too many “gun experts” just making atuff up.

The AK-74 is the more updated version of the 47. The AK-47 was developed in 1947 while the 74 was developed in 1974 after reviewing the m16. It fires a 5.45 mm round that is quite amazing and was called the poison bullet n Iraq as it tended to sneak through level 3 body armor due to its core. I own one myself.

The AK-74 is a Russian variant of the AK-47 that fires a Russian developed cartridge that is similar to the 5.56 mm NATO round that is used in the M-16 and M-4.

The AK-74 can be purchased in this country, but only in a semi-automatic version. Many countries now make this weapon.

This weapon can be found throughout the world, apparently even in California where it is not legal.

Also recall the reports that the terrorists also had pipe bombs. I see that this fact is not widely reported. In this there is a point of common behavior in the MSM’s handling of this massacre and Columbine.

During the Columbine massacre, in which 15 people were murdered and 21 injured, a total of four firearms were involved. The murderers also employed four knives and 99 explosive devices.

Of the firearms, only one qualified under the 1984 federal law as a banned “assault rifle”. One firearm was a doubled barreled shotgun with a shortened barrel. It has long been a federal felony to saw down the barrel of a shotgun and it was also a felony to possess such an altered weapon.

Every single explosive device was a federal and state felony to assemble, possess and use, and to use in the commission of a crime.

If the memory of Columbine is ever brought up today, the failure of the law to stop the use of explosives in a school massacre is never mentioned. It is never mentioned because that gets in the way of a Gollum-like fixation on the Precious, starting with the banning of certain firearms and certain accessories but to eventually to banning all firearms.

Fox is reporting Farook is not one of the two dead assailants.

Just curious, how can you tell if a shell casing is fired from a semi auto or auto weapon. I’ve never heard of that.

It’s brass. Highly unlikely to be 5.45. Article is stupid.

I was hoping somebody could id that shell to determine what kind of gun it was shot from. The Mail scoops so many stories. I don’t know how they do it.

Btw, the brass in the source pic is 5.56mm, not 5.45x39mm.

Catherine Herridge is reporting that but several other Fox reporters are saying that Farook is one of the dead.

Well, I guess that is one trick my old bones don’t know.... How can you determine that that case shown on the ground came from a full auto weapon?

ABC News said M4 assault rifles. Maybe they robbed the National Guard Armory.

Its a 5.56mm weapon, most likely from an AR just like the cops also carrying an AR or M4 said. But you can get the AK in 5.56mm (SAR-3 or Galil).

The author puts out a lot of poorly sourced garbage. His M.O. seems to be to reference statements he claims were made by mainstream news services. If you look up his sources it turns out he distorts the facts to draw conclusions that he likes.

It's just like when the eyes of a painting seem to follow you. You can see the casing no matter what angle you look at it.
