The “loophole” he wants to close is the 2nd Amendment. He believes that he has the power to deny us our constitutional rights.

Translation: The background check law specifically exempts private sales, including such transactions occurring at gun shows. So, the Administration can take action only by blatantly breaking the law. That's what they intend to do.
Once you break one law (immigration laws, e.g.), the rest get really easy.

Pretty good site here, showing graphs of homicide rates before and after gun bans, and at the bottom one comment points out that only 1% of state prison inmates got guns at gun shows.

Of course, most tables at a gun show are run by Class III dealers, and they must transact their sales with a background check. If I run into a private owner at a show who has a really nice Hall’s carbine, we can negotiate a private sale. Of course, I probably won’t want to match his price.
Yes, because a day after numerous folks were killed, in a likely gun free zone, we need to take away our only protection against this and other threats.
I read somewhere that the security guards in the building were not even armed (gun free zone?).

All a background check would have shown would have been that those two attackers were peaceful Muslims who never should have been questioned.

Obama’s Plan
1. Increase background checks on all innocent American citizens who want to exercise their 2nd amendment Constitutional rights
2. Leave the nations borders wide open
3. Allow illegals from all over the world to enter with no background checks, no medical screening, and no control over what they bring in with them.
4. Import thousands of insanly bitter, hate filled muslim males to the US from militant muslim nations and jihadi groups
5. Allow the muslims to enter with no effective background checks and no medical screening
6. Ridicule and persecute any American citizen who asks that immigration laws be enforced or questions the wisdom of allowing unc=screened muslims to emigrate
There is no gun show loophole—It is a fiction concocted by Liberals in an attempt to eradicate gun shows and limit firearm purchasing options.
Current gun laws apply just as much to gun shows as they do to any other place where guns are sold.
All gun dealers, regardless of where they do business, must be in possession of a federal firearms license (FFL); and all gun sales, regardless of where they occur, must be authorized by the FBI—The so-called “instant” background check.
