Despite being a favorite of the U.S. Republican Party establishment and a presumed top-tier candidate at the start of the race, Jeb Bush continues to struggle to gain momentum in the presidential campaign, even as the voting season quickly approaches.
Bush's troubles were underscored this past week with the release of a new CNN/ORC poll, which suggested the former Florida governor now has the support of an astoundingly low 3 percent of Republican and Republican-leaning independents nationwide.

Article says several reasons for unpopularity, but mentions only a “poor” debate performance. The writer can’t bring himself to list the specific positions on the issues that makes Jeb unpopular and why, because it would be admitting there’s a whole passel of folks out there that desire and support the opposite positions, which of course are anathema to “Progressives”. In other words, Yeb is unpopular with the base because he’s a “Progressive”, and we know that the Democrats will be offering us a “Progressive” of their own.
Those shoes definitely are fitting for Yeb. If the heels were about 3 inches higher, they’d be a true “act of love”.
Oh, I forgot to say...notice how excited and enthused his “crowd” looks?
