There is no earth-based survey more accurate than an orbital survey. True science prefers imperical testing and tries its best to avoid hit-or-miss, such as thermometers peppered all over the place and not always in the proper kind of shade for accurate results.

Yes there is. It’s just that no one has even looked into it.

SIMPLE: 99% or more of the earth’s heat COMES FROM THE SUN! Whatever part man’s contribution is is insignificant.

My son has degrees in Math, Computer Science and Physics (and Greek), so that is my qualification for knowing.

Why hasn’t someone simply calculated all the heat received by the earth from the sun in a year and compared that to man’s contribution? Oh - they add the bogeyman of CO2’s “greenhouse effect” to explain their numbers......

Yeah. I guess I'll just dig in my heels and accept the stupid global warming theory and tell them, I hate cold climate. Nature doesn't build roads or warm by itself. We really have to do this ourselves.

Michael Shermer doesn't get it... there's also no cohesive alternative theory to explain rabbits jumping backwards... OTHER THAN THAT IT'S NOT HAPPENING.
