At this moment in our history, I have a very hard time paying any attention to a ‘leader’ who is staring at a teleprompter, instead of speaking volubly from his heart.
I sat through it, but got nothing out of it. He’s just trying hard to play catch-up, after his ‘contained’ speech.

Didn’t watch. I suddenly remembered I needed to clean my shower.
He must be feeling quite a lot of heat because he didn’t attack Christians, Republicans and conservatives very much with ridicule. The only point where he did that I caught, at least, is when he asked what could possibly be the legitimate reason for allowing “terrorists” on the no-fly list to buy automatic weapons. He also got close to conjuring up thoughts of the leftist rhetoric on Trump and the other Republican candidates when he mentioned the political rhetoric of this campaign season, but then veered away from it. The left is going to be quite disappointed with him, I think.
