San Bernardino shooters were radicalized 'for quite some time,' FBI says

... Shooters Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik practiced at gun ranges in the Los Angeles area, said David Bowdich, assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles field office. And on at least one occasion, he said, their target practice occurred within days of the shooting.

They "were radicalized and have been for quite some time," Bowdich said...

ISIS ties?

...Tashfeen Malik and Syed Rizwan Farook were photographed at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport in 2014.

It is possible they became radicalized and planned and executed the attack on their own...

...So far, Bowdich said, investigators haven't found any evidence of a plot for the attack extending outside the continental United States.

"Right now, we're looking at these two individuals...and we are beginning to focus, to build it out from there."

Raid at family home in Pakistan

Sources told CNN that investigators believe Malik was radicalized at least two years ago, well before she came to the United States with Farook on a fiancee visa and before ISIS proclaimed its caliphate.

Authorities are looking into whether she pushed her husband to adopt more extremist views.

"We are working with our foreign counterparts to determine as much as we can," Bowdich said.

Thousands of miles away from the San Bernardino shooting scene, in a city in central Pakistan, authorities have raided a home owned by Malik's father, a security source told CNN Monday.

The forces broke a padlock off the building in the city of Multan, removing items from the unoccupied home...

No....the lady journalist at the NY Daily News says they were driven to kill because a co-worker was brave enough to tell the truth about Islam.

It is difficult to comprehend the constitutional mess that is created when a U.S. citizen becomes radicalized. One has to be cognizant of our own freedoms and at the same time balance it against the necessity of our defense. We all know there are more individuals like this among us.

I don’t think the balancing act will make many happy.

Radicalized Christians become missionaries; then, they tell everyone that Jesus loves them!

This is going to get worse before it gets better. How much worse is the million dollar question. We may not be at war with Islam but Islam most definitely is at war with us.

Although Barry’s toads in the state controlled “media” are trying to pin this Islamoterrorist massacre on the Greek guy who was murdered, I heard today that it was actually the murdering Islamofascist who was always picking fights with the Jewish Greek guy. I guess the toads got their marching orders from their mini messiah. Somebody needs to bring in the “fact checkers”. The “media” appears to be spewing bull**** again.

She already was a radical, but he was shopping online for a soul mate and found her. Would he have picked her if he didn’t agree with her? The slop doesn’t fall that far from the pig folks.

It was the woman’s fault. Now I understand why Bill Clinton was a lying, cheating scumbag. Hillary made him do it.

According to the article, it appears that the wife was radicalized years ago. They’re looking into whether the husband radicalized by himself, from online contacts or if the wife played a major role in his indoctrination.

Not an answer to the question. Obviously a wench named after an historic jihadist is more than suspect. 2nd gen Islamics are historically likely to develop SJS. Both the mom and dad are adherents to a seditious doctrine.

Islam provides ZERO benefits to the US.

Calling these two Jihadists “Radicalized” is making excuses for their behavior..its called ISLAM..no one forced them to believe what they believed, they believed it because that is what is taught in the Koran, to kill ALL non believers
