(New York, NY) December 7th, 2015, -- Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on. According to Pew Research, among others, there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population. Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing "25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad" and 51% of those polled, "agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah." Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won't convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women.
Mr. Trump stated, "Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. If I win the election for President, we are going to Make America Great Again." - Donald J. Trump

Only Trump has the clarity to cut through it all and define the problem....radical Islamic terrorism. There's no solution as long as these maniacs can live in communities that enable them. Trump's plan (1) acknowledges that we're at war on US soil and (2) has the courage to say we need a real solution.

Trump laid out his case with facts.
Not one person attacking Trump has assailed his facts or these polls.
All the attacks are just so much hysteria, fainting and pants wetting.
Tell me why these polls are wrong and maybe I’ll listen to another viewpoint.
But my reading and personal experience from 9/11/01 to today tells me all Muslims want me to convert or die, and their religion has no God but that of world domination.
This problem has been in the world since 622 AD, and the West has had to deal with Islam firmly to contain it.
We are heading toward a time when it will be either them or us, and I vote for us.

Trump’s statement is pissing off all the right people. They’re identifying themselves, so now there is no mistaking who they are.
Data is unequivocal.
They want to kill us and change our form of American government.

I saw this in a post yesterday. After I got out of the Marine Corps in October ‘79, I enrolled at Ohio University. I lived in a dorm assigned to international students. It’s been said on FR that all the Iranian students were sent home after the hostages were seized. If so, they forgot a few at OU because those Iranians remained on campus.

Insist that your Congressman find out how many Christian Syrians have been allowed in as refugees. If he/she can’t be bothered to find out, you shouldn’t be bothered to vote for them next year.

If it is against the Constitution to “profile” Muslims, then close border to any one who wants to enter by foot, air or boat. Or you could make a vetting rule that anyone who wants to enter US has to eat pork rinds and have pork feet touch their skin.

I believe this statement relates to the absurdity after 9-11 where the U.S. let, or may have even transported, the terrorist family members back to their Middle Eastern homes. As Trump has said, family members are either actively or passively involved in many attacks, yet I do not believe there was any thought given to this issue at the time.
