They talk about Trump making people’s heads explode. Who knows, he might just give Hillary another stroke.

I honestly prefer Cruz, but Trump would never run as the VP, and if he’s not on the ticket his supporters will stay home. Cruz is young enough, and smart enough, and patient enough to know that Trump will likely leave office with America on the upswing, ergo Cruz in position to take the helm in 2024. Not a bad 16 year legacy IMHO.

Was Cruz included in some part of this 42% Trump poll that I missed?

I was just trying to think what Cruz would bring to a TRUMP ticket. Especially outside of evangelical circles. Trump already is doing fine in the South and so Cruz serves no purpose there.

Now the North, in the blue labor/Union states, what’s Cruz got for Trump there? I’m just curious. Who does he deliver to TRUMP there? Trump is already leading all candidates in demographics.

I though a ticket is cut to actually assist the nominee, not as cake for another opponent, who brings no present to the party, or nominee.

Your scenario actually seems plausible. Of course Palin set the precedent for such selflessness.

They did the head to heads with a sample of D+6 (like 2012) Does anyone believe that? With no Bamarama, and the intensity of Trump support, the head to head would move from 52-48 Hillary to no worse than 51-49 Trump with a D+2 worst case.

I think you are right. Based on a Don Lemon report, where said he talked to many people who said they didn’t want to go on record but they were voting for Trump. Lemon is definitely not a Trumper. Rush concluded that meant Trump had a lot of silent support that meant that the polls probably are understating his real support.

Conservatism works? who’d have guessed that???

Moronic RINO’s! have thrown away several supreme court nominees because of their stupidity about what they think voters want!

If he decides he needs Cruz he can get him to join as VP candidate.

The scenario I'm praying is that the both of them win 40-45 primaries and end up with 90% of the delegates divided between them, equally or not. They form the election-winning ticket with Trump resigning the Presidency to Cruz two years into his term, just like you said. But before they do they leave the GOP, form a third party and campaign to defeat most of Congress in favor of their new party members. They send most Democrats to jail and turn the GOP into a fond memory at the same time.

.
Trump is a politician; just not an elected one.

Politics structure and fund much of his business, and knowing who to pay off to get what is Trump’s skill set.

All true, but I have never seen Republicans so irate at their own party, me included. There is an outright hatred of the GOPe that is worse than that for the Democrats. It’s like they go out of their way to insult, betray and ignore their own voters.
