How is that not clear? A baby is subject to his parents and they are subject to the jurisdiction of whatever their citizenship is.
That’s perfectly clear. We have two class of citizens: natural born and naturalized. All citizens are either one or the other. That’s quite different than the other statement that you posted. What’s your point.
So does that mean if someone born in France sticks up a liquor store then they can't be arrested, tried, and jailed?
