The black bandanna is a tell of ill intent.
“Suicide by cop”
Updates tend to confirm this, although drugs can’t be ruled out.
And the Boston bombers as well...
She can be a handful. The other day she went toe to toe with a guy who was swearing at her in Russian. I assume that the criminal element backs down with her because they sense that it is not a good idea to tangle with a woman who is half their size who is so fierce. I worry that she is going to get herself into trouble one day but she has very good situational awareness. She also acts very quickly and decisively when something needs to be done. Over the years on several occasions when we have stopped at car accidents or other problems on the road she has taken the role of incident commander while I have done the work. She starts assigning everyone else who stops a task. She is a natural born leader and does this when by herself also. She is a retired nurse. Often when the authorities begin to show up they have asked her to keep it up until they have enough people on scene to take over.
Either the guy was completely out of his mind, on drugs or both or it was suicide by cop.
The fact that he didn’t hurt anyone and actually told them to get lost, I thought suicide, but only God knows now.
I agree with your thoughts there.
Your life depends on you remaining calm and by the step methodical.
Don’t freeze up. That’s how officers and others die.
I’ve been reading up on concealed carry. Read one story about an officer that had a semi-automatic with more clips, who froze up after emptying one magazine. He could have saved his own life with the ammo he had, but he froze up. Didn’t reload...
He hit the guy once and the guy kept on coming.
I say this for me as much as anyone else. You never know fully how you would respond.
Absolutely - I get a kick out of the "heroes" here who have all sorts of advice when they've never been tested themselves. One can hope he will comport himself well, but until the chips are really down, one never knows - sometimes the learning experience is a fatal one.
