Last night, Trump said:
"When you had the World Trade Center go, people were put into planes that were friends, family, girlfriends, and they were put into planes and they were sent back, for the most part, to Saudi Arabia.They knew what was going on. They went home and they wanted to watch their boyfriends on television. I would be very, very firm with families. Frankly, that will make people think because they may not care much about their lives, but they do care, believe it or not, about their families' lives."
I saw Megyn Kelly tell Frank Luntz that the 9/11 Commission Head (I thought she said "head") was reached and denied that this happened, saying, "the hijackers were not married."
The point Trump was making was akin to his seeing celebrations in Jersey City after 9/11. He was saying that friends and family of the hijackers were sent home to the Middle East BEFORE the attack on 9/11 and that those friends and family knew the attacks were coming.
It was at this point that Jeb abruptly jumped in to cut Trump off.
Unless I am mistaken or misreading this comment, this is a major statement and will become big news.
Everyone knows that Bin Laden family members were sent home after the flight suspension ended. But no one, to my knowledge, has ever indicated that there were such flights before.
I don't think Trump would introduce this into a debate unless he had obtained this information from a solid source.

I thought it was after the event...during the total shutdown of flights domestically. It’s been awhile and I could be wrong.
Watching his campaign, listening to his rallies and interviews, I have to agree with you. I’m sure he knows a lot more about this government and the corruption in it than any of us do.
I’m afraid many of our conspiracy theories are actually true and he knows where the bodies are buried.
I heard this soon after 9-11.
It was labeled ‘conspiracy theory’.

I want to know about all the stock shorting that went on just before the event itself. I’ve heard for years that there were massive short positions taken on the airlines and other related companies almost as if ‘someone’ knew in advance 9/11 was going to happen.
But yeah, there was a ‘party’ in jersey city on a rooftop that clearly knew in advance that the towers were going to be hit.
Possible reference was to the sudden abandonment of the home of Esam Ghazzawi in Sarasota, Florida by Abdulaziz and Anoud al-Hijji, who were linked to the 9/11 attacks.
Trump is actually partially correct...the people who the U.S. government allowed to fly out (when air travel was otherwise shut down) were Bin Laden family members and other Saudi big wigs who did not want to stick around for the post-9/11 fallout.
Left the houses and cars and just bolted the country.
My cousin Taught in bay area. Their student of Arabic decent didn’t show up the day before and were never heard from again. Entire families flew back to ME before the attack. Yes they knew ahead of time. If not exactly what was to happen enough to fly days before it happened out of the USA

I remember that family members were put on planes post 9/11. If any of them were leaving the country before the event, then I agree that this would be big news, as this would indicate that they had inside knowledge of a pending attack.
I thought it was relatives of Osama bin Laden that they got out of the country for their safety.

The problem is, unless the WH calls for an investigation into the trades, little can be done about it. And Bush apparently had no interest in pursuing same.Bush had no interest in a lot of things, like American jobs, and our culture, just for starters. Makes you wonder for sure!
You’d think the SEC would work with the FBI/etc on that.
