Pentagon Officers: We Quit if Trump Wins
The Daily Beast ^ | 12/16/15 | Nancy A. Youssef

The plans of the next president are personal to the officers of the Pentagon, who are threatening to quit if The Donald becomes commander-in-chief.

Republican presidential candidate and business mogul Donald Trump has repeatedly vowed to build up the U.S. military if elected president.

But it is not clear he will have the experienced commanders within the ranks to do it.

In the halls of the Pentagon, there is a different plan afoot for the Trump presidency. Here, officers are privately contemplating what they would do should Trump become their commander-in-chief. And more often than not, they proclaim they will leave.

Obama has already dumped all of the good ones, nothing left but the perfumed princes and dykes.

Trump would need to reboot the pentagon anyway, so this will make it easier for him.

So far, everyone who has threatened to leave - including the Hollywood muffin class - will no be missed.

They won’t have long to quit. They will be fired! Look at the middle east. These people are as responsible as Hillary and Obama. They should be brought up on charges!

They think this way because they are serious people who put their country first, not self-obsessed blowhards whoring for fame like Donald Trump.

You interviewed them or you read their minds?

Not at all strange. After 8 years of Obama politics in the military most of these guys are worthless liberals. I hope they do quit.

I can’t imagine these are pre-Obama leaders.

The Pentagon and all of the other bureaucracies need a good cleaning out.

GW didn’t do it.

Clinton and Obama did, to a certain extent.

And also the leadership of the Republican party need to be invited to retire.

Better for them to quit before the next Secretary of Defense, Allen West, fires them.

These are not the Allen West or Pattonesque type of officers. These are political hacks.

No, they are REMFs, politically correct staff officers that you keep away from the troops. Best example I can point to is Courtney Massengale, from the novel "Once an Eagle." The warrior in that novel was Sam Damon.

I was never a "Sam Damon", though I aspired to it. As a young officer, I was a PITA. Serving at remote sites, I was often required to make rapid decisions. Some my superiors liked, many that they didn't. I doubt I would have made 1st LT in today's army, let alone captain.

I worked very well with superiors who demanded intelligence and imagination from their subordinates. Trouble was, I didn't serve with enough of them.

Hogwash! No names given, so either the commies at the Daily Beast are making up stuff, or the so-call officers at the pentagon are the twinkies that odinga installed.

Either way, nobody cares.

Odumbo has filled the Pentagon up with metrosexuals. Their leaving will prevent President Trump from having to fire them.

This article is total BS.

The only military people who would say this stuff to a reporter are in the Obama camp.

To them, good riddance brown nosers.

Trump will give the honor and respect to those that serve in the military that they deserve.

The military folks are not going to fall in behind Hillary and get out because of Trump. Who is this reporter kidding?

Again, a total BS article.

Great, clean out all the Dem's and replace them with strong supporters of the constitution.

The oath was to protect and defend the constitution not any president.

Not surprising. Got to realize that a lot of these top brass were added when Obama purged the Bush team.

When stars are added to a uniform, politics are far more pronounced in the equation than most realize.

I am confident that these can be replaced with an improved staff by a President Cruz or President Trump.

This Daily Beast POS was nothing but a hit piece to embolden the GOP(e) and the dimocratic base.

“By 2016 I will have my 20 years in and can get out of here,” one military official said, referring to the amount of time a service member needs to collect retirement pay.

This person sounds made up. And is her definition of a Military official?

Great, clear out the dead wood, bring back the ones who were forced out. Obama’s Perfumed Princes threaten to leave, it shouldn’t be a problem, we have plenty of excellent military people who would look forward to replacing them. (Not counting those who are still in the inactive retired reserve.:))

You know, there’s only so much B.S. that takes place naturally.

This is becoming a concern to me.

What the hell is going on here?

Donald Trump may not be the perfect guy, but he’s no Obama. He’s no McCain.

Folks, there’s something rather mysterious going on here. This is way way way over the top.

The powers that be are freaking coming unglued.

These ARE NOT normal reactions.

Donald Trump is not a threat to this nation, but something else is and it’s handy-work is becoming more evident by the day.

Trump has outed a very sinister element.

I’m more for him now than I have been. If he’s truly their enemy, I’m on his side through thick and thin.

So they are proclaiming their private contemplations?
