The school could play the same game as the students and just rename the entrees something different.
Chicken Tandori—Thelmas spicy chicken.
General Tso Chicken—Bubba sweet chicken
Sushi: Rice seaweed wrap
Bahn Mi—Ed*s chicken-cole-slaw sub
Young people today are spoiled rotten. They expect their college cafeteria food to be rated four stars.
I miss the days where the administration would have said *if you don’t like it dont eat it*.
“PC students at [Lisa] Dunham’s [Oberlin} college offended by lack of fried chicken”........
Those little piss ants need to all be drafted into our military, no exceptions or deferments, then give them something to be “offended” by. Doing so will either make them grow up or get killed for whining when the enemy shoots at them. Like Donald Trump, I AM SICK OF THEIR POLITICALLY CORRECT BULL CRAP.

Fried chicken is racist. Just like watermelon.
Capicolla an' roast beef with fries, slaw and tomato on top on hand sliced Italian bread.
Secret slaw recipe is 1 part oil, 2 parts cider vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar.
Wait... What?
Did I just say that out loud?
Dang! Now I have to kill everybody...And it's Christmas!
I think some of these demands have a little satire behind them.
Ham sandwiches. Watermelon. Fried chicken. Bacon. Gluten. Peanuts. Everything offends someone.
True. You won’t find ‘stinky tofu’, ‘shark fin soup’ or ‘chicken feet’ in your local Chinese restaurant.
I remember reading just a few weeks ago that some students were complaining about how the term “authentic” shouldn’t be used when talking about food - that Chinese food made in Omaha is just as authentic as Chinese food made in Chunking.
What goofs!
Does anyone actually go to college to acquire an education?
If they had fried chicken, they’d be offended too. You can’t cater to perpetually offended idiots.
It costs more than $60,000 a year to go to Oberlin. Of course they should have authentic gourmet food.
A decade or so ago, a local Publix grocery store ran a fried chicken special on Martin Luther King's birthday.
The uproar from the self-proclaimed leaders of the Black community was predictable.
Hey, I’m offended every day I don’t have fried chicken. Whom do I sue?
Is it wrong for me to say I really, really, intensely dislike these brainwashed malcontents and their limp-wristed protestations.
When I was in college I enjoyed sports, parties, and girls..not necessarily in that order (and I have the GPA to prove it).
This is micro-aggression! Being asked to prepare coffee beverages is sexist and demeaning toward women! And furthermore, asking men to prepare the coffee beverages is as demeaning to women as eating tacos is demeaning to Mexicans!
“Cup a soup and peanut butter crackers were my staple. Along with endless cans of Coke.”
Ramen, white bread and ketchup was all you would find at my place. Amazing how good a 7 bread deep ketchup sammich tastes after a night of drinking at the 18 and over pub.

“General Tsoâs chicken is not a Chinese dish.”
Not exactly. It is based on an Hunanese chicken dish. When a chef moved to NYC, he added a bunch of sugar to the recipe we now know. Cop Suey and Chowmein and fortune cookies are definitely American in origin though.
The Generals Chicken tastes great, but isn’t very good for you, as it exceeds several recommendations for salt, sugar, calories, etc..An occasional treat. But steamed and not fried? Yuck! I’ll have the chicken feet or better yet the Twice-cooked Pork. Yum! Chinese ex-wife.
kinda hungry for some Xoi Man right about now,,
with a fork of course...
