But but but
This is her dream school
The crowd is supposed to fund it Doncha know
Since dropping out, getting a real job and finishing later are just so.... Unfair
Sounds like she just got an education in personal finance. Soon she will get a graduate degree in the burden of personal debt. Good luck to whoever marries this one.
She should just go whoor herself out to a Democrat Congressman....just needs to be careful it isn’t somebody like a Gary Condit.... eff her.
The comments don’t show any sympathy. hehe
Is she hot? I know a way she can make money fast.
We definately need some “comprehesive tuition reform” in this country. These colleges are ripping people off with their outrageous costs. It’s not like this is the newest “smart” phone or tickets to an Adele concert. It’s only college for Pete’s sake!
“Fleming’s dream job is to work for a nonprofit organization focused on higher education.”
43K a year and this is her dream job?
I think she needs to stop dreaming.
Apparently, her pre-college education- lacked even the most basic of required texts:
“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”
Luke 14:28
In fact, I believe she's liking advertising for free college as advertised by the Dems.
Where's a picture of her? And what is her degree?
there are most certainly some important details missing from the MSM sob-story. The story just doesn’t make sense.
At $43k / year, I'd have to agree! And then she even taps into family members to help her but misses out on financial aid for her final 2 years. I find that usually comes from failures to properly file on time or missing requirements.
What tops everything though is what she is spending almost $200k to get. From the article; Fleming's dream job is to work for a nonprofit organization focused on higher education.
GIVE ME A BREAK! A prime driver of post-secondary (College/University) costs is the 'gold-plating' endemic to the system. Outside consultants, non-profits, NGOs etc. keep the system in a ferment with an endless parade of 'new ideas' to the point of constant change. Problem is that the beneficiaries of the change are almost never the students but rather the professionals involved.
Sigh!
I read the article and I don’t see any mention of her major. Clearly, it is not business.
I don’t understand how these people get such debts? My daughter graduated from a prestigious Ivy League university. She financed it through scholarships, our help and one $5,000 loan-which is now paid off.
And her degree is in ????
Gender Studies, minority whatever. Might as well be basket weaving.
You can bet it’s not in physics, math, chem, EEng MEng, CSci.
So I joined the Marines, which had a program where if you put in $2,700 over the four years, they would triple that and give you $8,100 at the end of your four years. I signed up for that program and pretty much fully funded the Technical School where I ended up going. That allowed me to get a job and make decent money. Then I took advantage of my company's tuition reimbursement program and took night college courses to round out my education.
The end result was no college loans to pay off and a decent career in electronics. Not to mention a military background, which pretty much guarantees you a job wherever you apply (at least that is what I have experienced).
My own two sons went to college and we chose colleges that we could afford to pay as we go. So no student loans for them and they have engineering degrees.
So what is her major, anyway...does it have the word science or studies in its name?
As co-signers her parents and sister are in hock to support her “dream”. No mention of the degree she is aiming for but the loan people think it’s a bad bet.
She could have enrolled in “The Velvet Jones School of Technology” and earned while she learned. (couldn’t find it on youtu r)
Go dance a Pole until you pay your Debts.
