Thomas Jefferson was aware that "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
Now, by doling out what little is left of America's wealth to foreign interlopers, those that fit into the tyrant category are shaking the tree of liberty with a decision that includes crediting back payments for time worked illegally in the U.S.
In other words, as part of Obama's 'fundamental transformation,' America has transitioned from a nation who once threatened to fine employers for hiring illegals into a nation crediting illegals with back Social Security payments for work done illegally.
And if rewarding illegals isn't outrageous enough, with the help of a Congress complicit in furthering the abuse of power, via a $1.1 trillion omnibus budget deal the president plans to further frustrate the efforts of blue-collar Americans desperate to find a job by awarding work visas to 3 million illegal employees.
Of late, these sorts of outrages are not the exception, but the rule. The travesty is that, while silently capitulating to unspeakable indignation, those who nurture the tree of liberty are being made to feel somehow obliged to assume a subservient position to those who either don't belong in this country, or who are heading here to inflict harm.
In hopes of directing the masses, Barack Obama subjects our nation to a litany of course-corrective sermons, where he who knows nothing about "American values" lectures endlessly about "American values." Clearly, this ongoing effort is not to cultivate freedom, but rather to deconstruct the American view of the world in hopes of helping the stubborn to see America 'not as it is, but as Obama and his ilk believe it should be.'

Do you really still think you can fly under the radar? We've all already attracted the attention of DHS. It's past time we quit hiding in the shadows like a bunch of mice, stand up like patriots, and dare the SOBs to do something.
What are the better ways of which you speak? Wasting hours here on FReep and other comment boards, preaching to the choir? Voting? Writing letters to the editor? Calling in to your local afternoon drive talk radio show? Geez Louise...we've been doing that for the last 25+ years and look at where it's gotten us.
No, it's (past) high time we draw the proverbial line in the sand and show TPTB who's the boss in this country. We're gonna attract some attention doing that, I hate to tell you, so man up. We're not gonna do this from the couch, drinking beer and watching Monday Night Football. Some of us are gonna have to get our noses bloodied.

Jefferson was so prescient to note in the Declaration that men are more disposed to suffering evil, while evil was sufferable, rather than to do what was necessary to abolish the forms to which they became accustomed.

Well, you can vote for Trump for openers. He is not part of this corrupt government and says he will make America great again. Considering how successful he has been in life he may actually be able to lead the way. That’s more then I can say for any other presidential candidate during my adult life.

Good question. I would suggest we all start locally. To borrow the slogan of a bunch of Leftist scumbags, "think nationally, act locally". To borrow another Leftist concept, we need to form community organization groups, and start knocking on doors. We've got to get control of our own towns, counties, school boards, highway districts and so on first. After that, all those cities, counties and states can work together to try to fix the nation. But if we try to bite off more than we can chew, we'll wind up like the Tea Party...just a bunch of scared, cowardly mice, afraid to come out of the shadows, 'cause someone might call us bad names.
As for when, the answer is right the f*%# now! Call a couple of good, like minded friends, invite them over for pizza and eggnog tonight, and start talking, planning and organizing. We're running out of time -- fast -- but there might still be time for the First Amendment to save this country. God help us if we have to turn to the Second.

Voting is not going to solve where we have arrived.
Voting for one man to high office to become a messiah and ‘save us’ is how we got Obama in the first place.
You want a dictatorship to ‘save us’? You already got one. You are just advocating we trade one dictator for another.
Liberty cannot endure or survive a people who make political messiah’s their prince.
You cannot stop tyranny via civil means. Never. Not upon a movement that seeks your subjugation and has no morals outside of it’s own. Nope.
The Ruling Class decides our leaders. If you haven’t figured that out by now - then you never will.
By the time you wake up and realize this truth - it will most likely be too late for you and yours.
Its tough to restore something that has been cut down, chopped into firewood and burned.

Repentance is needed on a local and national level first. Only a moral and religious people are capable of Freedom. In concert with that, are practical things to be done.
If we really want to get the party started to save the Tree, (if that is even still possible), then we need to convince as many as we can that the Federal Beast at Mordor on the Potomac is wholly and completely illegitimate.
It has disqualified itself from leadership. It is completely corrupt, and has corrupted everything it has touched. It has no legitimate moral or lawful authority since it usurped the Constitution and abrogated it. All it has is guns it puts to our heads to force compliance, while it robs us of everything and consigns our posterity to misery and destitution.
Convince enough people of this truth - and then withdraw our consent to be governed by such and refuse to comply with it - and then this Beast will make that last mistake,=. When that happens as a moral people, even if a minority - we have the Authority by God to defend ourselves and our faith from what they intend to do to us in the long-run anyway.
That is the model our Founders left us.
Do not comply. Refuse. Resist.
Then they will come for you. And you will know what time it is.
It is time to stop beating around the bush of where we have been taken and what we have to do, and what this Beast in DC is become.
But it all begins with talking...and not being afraid to stick our heads up. Someone has to lead the charge, so leaders, step up.
