I’m still waiting for Cruz to clarify his statement that Bush deported 10 million illegals.
Rubio looked in the mirror and saw....Cruz! Remember how Clinton did this too? Rubio is turning into an authentic liberal right before our very eyes.
another thing...we know that Rubio screwed us at least once on Amnesty. Cruz has not.
I think he meant 10 bazillion illegals deported.
Did this strategy come from the gal lobbyist that he’s having the affair with? Or from one of Bush’s advisers?

This is basically a “nothing burger.”
Everyone I know will gladly vote for Cruz over Rubio. Cruz’s talks with certain donors around his amendment, as Rush even said this week, stated he supported legalization of the illegals, so this will bite Cruz a bit, but it’s not a deal-breaker.
We have so much more bad from Rubio that Cruz is a true boy scout.
Does Rubio realize that these attacks are NOT working, and helping Cruz move up in the polls at his expense? Guess not.
Just get him a parasol and he’s The Penguin.

The ironic thing is even if they did have an effect, the Rubio people are blind if they think any of Cruz’s supporters will turn their support to him. Hence, you’re going to see Trump supporters pushing the Rubio attacks even more than the Rubio campaign.
Disclaimer: Somehwere on here I wrote a vanity back in 2011 urging Rubio to run for POTUS, that was well before he went gang of 8 and establishment on everyone. Had he ran in 2012 he might have had a decent shot, but his unwillingness to take on the Establishment favorite (Romney) should have been the first sign something was off.
Still, I think when Cruz wins the nomination, he’ll appease the Establishment just like Reagan did by selecting and Establishment running mate to unify the party. I suspect despite all the mudslinging, Rubio is still in line for Cruz’s VP spot. People will try to paint it as a bad decision on Cruz’s part when in actuality he’ll be following the same strategy Reagan did.
Then again, if the Internet had existed back in the 1970’s, could Reagan have still have won in 1980 without every poster/blogger bringing up the name of Richard Schweiker (Reagan’s chosen VP for 1976 had he defeated Ford at the convention)

Actually I think Walker would be a pretty solid bet for a Cruz VP pick.
No doubt there would be pressure from the establishment but Walker would be a widely acceptable compromise.
Wow. The guy that lied to my face as a Florida voter and then joined the gang of donkeys to try to fleece us. Then, Rubio literally did a disappearing act and quit doing his job to lay low and run for President. I had high hopes for the guy. I still haven’t given up on him for good, but he’s completely underwhelming in this race.
