Black Lives Matter protesters vowed Monday to press on with their plan to demonstrate at the Mall of America on the busy shopping day before Christmas Eve, despite the mall's efforts to stop them.

The mall requested a temporary restraining order barring the group from staging its protest Wednesday over the police killing of a black man last month. It is hoping to prevent the type of disruption that thousands of protesters caused last year, when stores had to temporarily close and dozens of people were arrested. [...]

Those behind this year's planned protest at the Mall of America want the authorities to release video of the death of 24-year-old Jamar Clark, who was shot and killed by Minneapolis police on Nov. 15. ...

Hire 100 security personel and execute the Taze and Drag strategy.

Have paddy busses lined up outside.

"The Mall America continues to seek to bar free speech for the community on its premises," Black Lives Matter said.
Your civil rights end when they interfere with someone else's rights or invade private property.
Go home, get a job, get a life ... just get.

It’s private property. The fist amendment protects speech on public property. It’ll be expensive, but if they don’t have the political clout to have publically funded police sufficient to arrest them all then they’ll have to spend $50/hour per cop to get off-duty police. They need to specify black cops only and have 20 of them. They need to have all the laws briefed so those cops can start arresting right away. That should break it up pretty well.

And if they still show up, broadcast classical music in the parking lot.

They drive away paying customers who are fed up with their demands and conduct, business drops, stores close and the malls become ghost towns.

Case in point...Military Circle Mall in Norrrfolk VA.

“Is this protest going to scare off shoppers from the mall...”

It has already scared off a middle school choir. They cancelled their trip to the Mall to perform a Christmas concert on Wednesday.

“Mall of America seeks to stop Black Lives Matter protest”

Charge them with trespassing? The mall isnt public property.

The First Amendment protects free speech and peaceable (not riotous) assembly on public property. Of course, communists like BLM see all property as socialistic and are of the “abolition of private property” mindset.

My Husband and I stopped going to Malls 30 years ago, I can count on my two hands the number of times we have stepped foot in one in the last 10 years.

Not worth the risk.

I don’t see why the Mall management doesn’t hire “private security” like the Hell’s Angles.

One whiff of those guys, BLM would be headed out of town.

Ask yourself. “Would I take my family to a place where a BLM protest is taking place?” Why is that? People feel intimidated because of previous acts of violence initiated by this group. Terrorism is defined as the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims. Why is this threat not terrorism?

Americans have to give up the connivance of malls because liberal groups use them to express their hatred of American culture? That's what we've come to?

Fight back traditional families...

Malls need to designate a place for protest -( that's what political parities do)... Give protesters a place on the far side of the parking lot...
