You are an idiot.
Ted Cruz’s big wins at the United States Supreme Court as Solicitor General of Texas were ALL public policy achievements. Why don’t you educate yourself before you come here spewing out nonsense?
Cruz is 1.7 % behind Hillary in an RCP average. Trump is 6.5% behind Hillary in an RCP average.
But we definitely should refrain from bickering amongst ourselves.
....................................................................................................................
Tell it to the Cruz supporters! They are trying to disqualify Trump, while most conservative Trump supporters just don’t think Cruz, or the ground, is ready for him yet!
They are making enemies out of friends due to impatience.

I try to make that plea to BOTH Cruz & Trump supporters. But it, too frequently, falls on deaf ears.
Not everyone is crazy about Trump and the reasons are obvious.....Cruz on the other hand is far more “stable”.
I think we’re missing the forest for the tree here. The reality is that the establishment (RNC, rinos, dems, media, etc.) don’t want Trump and will use any kind of disinformation and propaganda to TRY and make us believe the information is “real”. The truth is we don’t know what the truth is, however, we do know that the establishment is NOT happy with Trump and that should be all we need to know.
Ted Cruz was fighting for conservatives long before Trump knew what conservatism even meant, and when Trump was still kissing Hilary Clinton’s butt.
Who the beck is Trump? He is not even part of the conversation when we are talking conservatism. This is NOT about Trump. It’s about Ted Cruz. Get it?
Link?
Said the guy who came to a Cruz is thread and proceeded to launch mindless attacks on Ted Cruz which are not even based on facts.
Let's see if this is a trend in national polls but more importantly, in the early state to state polls where momentum is formed and shifted.
I have not come out for a candidate publicly yet but I read FR every day. But I don’t see the Cruz supporters hatred for Trump that you see. I see more zealous Trump supporters being extremely rude to anyone who supports Cruz or any candidate except Trump.
Trump might make a good president but he is obnoxious and that may be why he appeals to the obnoxious people who support him on FR.
See my post # 113 in this very thread. Don’t pretend you haven’t seen or read it.

Is there any reason to believe he'd not simply continue the trend of increasing power to the Executive? That he'd not use the same line Obama does, that we can't wait for Congress to pass laws so he has to do it himself?
I honestly believe that, should this happen, our Republic is truly lost because we would have forever baked in a super charged Executive that writes laws and issues edicts and the chances of pulling back on that once the GOP electorate embraces it are nil.
Trump didn't lose his percentages. Rubio and Carson did and that support according to this poll seems to have gone to Cruz. I've said all along, that Trump totally trashing the other candidates wasn't going to endear their supporters to Trump when their candidates began to falter or leave the race. This poll could either be an outlier or reflecting that fact.
Ok thank you.
I see where you are coming from.
How many voters know what they are?
LOL Calm down...
Really?
How many voters know what they are?
(whoops, HTML tag blowouts ;)
I agree with everything you said.
Second, I've explained the "negatives" over and over. Someone with his high "negatives" could NEVER poll as high as he does. These aren't "negatives" like you see for Hillary. They are entertainment industry negatives like you see for a character. But, you won't believe that so think what you want.
And, no matter what you say, it is irrefutable that in almost all head-to-heads, Carson does best against Hillary . . . if you believe that element of the polls. I don't.
