The sun is going through a periodic dormant cycle, the low point being around 2030.
The scientists are just modifying their ‘theory’ to match what is going to happen.

I have gone green. I planted a maple tree that should nicely block my Obama-loving neighbor’s new solar panels. They are getting $8000 in federal rebates, $6000 in state rebates. So, like them, I have “gone green”. The new maple tree cost me $350 and I get no rebates, just the satisfaction of going green. (See tag line)
If this is true (and I wouldn’t bet on it), then we might actually need to do some of the things the environmentalists are pushing. An ice age is not cool.

The article is actually saying is that particulates formed from burning fossil fuels TEMPORARILY reduce warming but over time when those particles leave the atmosphere it will be worse than predicted.
