380 semi-auto.
She had an operation on her arm and her thumb is weak, also her right hand so she can't handle a revolver properly. For a number of reasons the 380 BG was the best alternative. Personally, I don't like the BG trigger but she seems fine with it. That is what is important. She can work the slide which she couldn't with other semiautos, especially in higher calibers.
I got a S&W J-frame hammerless revolver. Goes right in my purse.
And now I want a Bodyguard... And a bigger revolver... But first I promised hubby a new shotgun...
Damn. These things multiply like cats.

The J-frame is a fine tool. I also like the new Ruger LCR .38 revolver. It is hammerless too and has a really nice trigger, I think.
Everyone has different needs and likes. Once you get going it is hard to fill every "need" with just one item.

A friends looking and I like small revolvers
but it boils down to End user preference.
