What we have here is a failure to communicate.
Even George Will doesn’t get it. His boy, Jeb, has 5% support. That’s all that $37M, a third of total campaign spending, has bought for the establishment boy.

Cruz and Trump have the best ground games there.
Time will tell.

I suspect you could be very wrong. I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.

I'm certainly likely to be wrong when predicting a future event that even the "experts" disagree on:)
But I'm certainly willing to opine and look dumb for it.

If that’s the case, Cruz should be running away with it, should he? But, he’s not. Cautionary tale.

If Trump ekes out a win in Iowa, what does that mean for the Cruz campaign?

Some do wish. He’s got some big time competition who will not concede Iowa to him and we know who that is. And Cruz is getting heat from several now. Huckabee, Rubio, Paul, and Santorum taking aim at Cruz.

I don’t believe ANYTHING from Gravis. They don’t even poll anybody. They pull the numbers out of some place. And they mostly report an outcome that they think the people who paid for the faux poll want to hear. For instance, they were telling the GOPe that Mitt would easily beat Barky. Rove still hasn’t recovered. But he apparently keeps using them.

More likely Trump has peaked, and spoken too early.

Nothing will be proportional.
Cruz will pick up 90% or more of the drop-outs support.
Trump has so far failed to pick up any measurable drop-out support, and will likely begin losing the non-infatuated supporters he has to Cruz.

They are the most wishy washy group that I have ever seen. Who cares how they vote as it means very little in the scheme of things.

Cruz is the only candidate that will not “peak” until the primary season is over.
Very likely that Trump has slammed into his ceiling, and will be bleeding to Cruz.

I thought Cruz was “kicking Trump’s ass” in Iowa. Looks more like he has peaked and, after a brief debate bump, is likely going the way of Carson, as other polls indicate.
