A man in Massachusetts says someone has been stealing Donald Trump signs from his yard for months. He has finally caught the thief red-handed.
Joe Ricci says this was the final straw. Surveillance video captured what he says has been going on for months. Someone taking those big blue "Trump" signs right out of his yard. "He saw my truck wasn't in the driveway, so he grabs the sign and off he runs."
His camera is close enough and clear enough, he says, to identify the person in the video as his neighbor's teenaged son. We blurred his face because he's underage. Ricci called police, who came out for the second time in a week to take a report.
But look who else his cameras recorded later. Monday night, the suspect and his dad, coming back with one sign to apologize.
Ricci said, "The father actually had the nerve to ask me if I needed yard work done as retribution for this. I just laughed and told him to get off my property."

I think Ricci acted like a jerk. Could have a teachable moment for the kid, instead it reinforced his notion that Trump supporters are to be disliked. I am not a troll.

The rest of the article quotes the vandal as saying that he actually likes Trump.
I write off this incident as coming from the general stupidity of a lot of teen agers.
Great idea, I think about 100,000 volts would be about right.
While your story is really good, and logical; but like I said, we have no way of knowing what the history is with this neighbor kid. Sometimes you just reach a limit .. and being nice and forgiving has run it’s course.
Trump should give the guy a huge Trump for President sign to place on his lawn. Come and shake his hand and have his people put it up—that would get him some PR.
The kid should be put on a *mischief* registry list for the rest of his life.
With any luck, he’ll make the sex registry list by the time he’s 18 y/o.
Mr. Ricci missed a teachable moment. Too bad.

Correct. There are multiple stories every election about sign stealing.
We live in Amherst, NH and had two Trump signs stolen this week.
