“Donald Trump 39.1% Ted Cruz 13.7% “

This is the root cause of all the sore cruzerman posts. Its just too much for the Cruz supporters who have waited lo these 7 long months for Cruz to get some traction in the polls and its just not happening.

I’ve been here long enough.

Your post reminds me of a Seinfeld episode... “The monkey started it” said Kramer in an attempt to place the blame for his behavior elsewhere.

Child like yes?

I have seen sets of both supporters engaging in such behavior but that’s not the topic under discussion.

Again please refrain from ridiculing or belittling Cruz supporters. Most of them IMO are natural supporters of Trump because he is the only one who has a shot to wrap this thing up without the establishment. Trump can win it hands down and most of us are ok with that...I’m happy about it.

My problem is that in spite of trump’s sure shot at winning, he’ll need help once he’s in and I think that’s Cruz. I do NOT want Rubio or Cruz or Carly in there!

Trump has it wrapped up...so next time someone tries to upset you, don’t take it out on Cruz or his supporters (like me). Take it out on the individual harassing you. I for one am totally fine with Trump as long as Cruz is up there with him as veep. DT loves America more than 0bama hates it so let’s get him up there with the help he’ll need eh?

"The wide open results are also interesting:"

Yeah, Trump triples Cruz there also:

Donald Trump 31.3%

Ted Cruz 10.3%

I think that's a pickup since the last poll in wide open results.

Yet he will win Iowa.

So just like GOP nominees Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum?

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to comfort yourself by saying "well, he won Iowa!" as Cruz is announcing his exit from the primary, after being rejected by most of the remaining 49 states.

As correct as your post is, Catsrus also has a point.

Time was, I was an enthusiastic Cruz supporter way back when he first announced and I dismissed Trump as the biggest ringer in the race.

Then I listened to Trump’s speeches and rallies, grinned as he took down the media, and cheered as he sent Jeb from the frontrunner right into being a tippy-toed nose-picking crybaby.

But here on FR, you could not say one positive thing about Trump without several really nasty messages from Cruz and/or Walker supporters about how you were a chump, or a dupe, a cultist, a crypto-liberal, or various other nasty comments.

There were Trump supporters who dismissed Cruz plenty, yes, but the difference was that from what I saw, the Trump supporters weren’t the ones being condescending, name-calling, holier than thou, and just generally nasty for many, many months. They tended to keep their negative comments strictly on the things that Cruz had done in the Senate.

But now the Trump supporters are getting fed up and hitting back, even and especially some who enthusiastically supported both candidates in the earlier months.

Just what I saw, both as a Cruz supporter and a Trump supporter.

I wish that the supporters would get along better than this, but there are just a few very, VERY loud voices who are getting VERY tiresome and who you just cannot escape from!

First of all, don’t tell me what or what not to do - okay? I’ve seen way too much out of these cruz supporters to play nice with them any more. They are vicious! Most of us support both (although I’m losing my enthusiasms for Ted Cruz) but, you have the Cruzbots who say they will NOT support Trump if he wins the nomination. So, they are also sore losers if that happens.
