I have never seen the upside to open carry unless you are entering a area where your potential for being attacked are very high by the criminal element that lives there....
Otherwise conceal and don’t give the advantage away...

There is no good reason generally to open carry when you can conceal carry, unless you want to be packing a Desert Eagle or something large, which sometimes is a good idea depending on what you’re doing that day.
Depends on the place and circumstances, but from a liability and insurance standpoint businesses like restaurants may be better off discouraging the practice.

you can get a holster that makes it pretty darn impossible to do that. a good level 3 retention fobus would probably do the trick.
