Washington (CNN)After repeatedly boasting that he has spent very little on his campaign so far, Donald Trump is set to begin spending $2 million a week on ads in early primary and caucus states.

Trump told reporters Tuesday that he will begin his first major paid media campaign, which he has refused to do despite large advertising buys from his Republican rivals and the super PACs supporting them, next month. Trump, who has no authorized outside group independently backing him, appears to be finally paying heed to polls that show the GOP race tightening in Iowa.

“Spending $8-10 million still leaves the question in the air, although it is further evidence that he might actually be serious.”

He wants to win just to win. He just said in South Carolina, "If I don't win, I'll consider this a total and complete waste of time." There was no mention of his love or respect to the country or the good of the country - it was, “If I don't win, I'll consider this a total and complete waste of time.” He will go back to his Trump Tower and write more tweets in the middle of the night attacking some celebrity or whomever.

It’d be funny if this is just a bunch of Fear, Uncertainty, and Dread from Trump. Meaning that he’s probably not gonna spend any money, but he wants to scare his opponents into needing a whole lot more money just based on the threat.

So the other campaigns end up spending more time and resources on fundraising instead of on other crucial campaign expenditures.

lol...love how CNN paints him as kind of stupid. The tone is like..."ya well, stupid trump didn't think he would have to advertise. NOW look at him...changed his tune."

Meanwhile Trump has played his strategy perfectly. Hold his cash UNTIL it's really important...just before the primaries.

I hope he says (in so many words):

“They’re calling me crazy, and I AM a little crazy with whats’ been happening for far too long. You know what’s wrong, I know what’s wrong. It will require an extraordinary person and effort to put us back on track. Same ol’, same ol’ won’t do anything but delay the inevitable death of this uniquely great experiment in freedom. There has never been a better country in recorded history. If you don’t know that, and don’t appreciate that, shame on you, shame on us. We’re not perfect...I’m not perfect (well, maybe.. : ) ), but we will make America great again.”

BTW, I will be part of the LIVE audience at TRUMP’S RALLY tomorrow evening
******************************************************************************
We expect you to come out of the rally completely hoarse...or you weren’t into it. Have a great time, and give him an extra shout for all of us.

He didn’t. It’s one of the things some TDS people here and in the media have said. Because he’s not spending shows he won’t when he needs to, so he’ll drop out because money is all he cares about. It’s silly.

Winning YUGE would be quite the message, would it not? I can't think of any other reason. Perhaps revealing even. As in capable of learning from the mistakes of the past (Santorum 2012).

I’d even take Santorum before Trump. Jindal would have been better too.

Quite telling.

Yep, I don't fall for a corporate socialist pretending to be a conservative. Anybody who thinks that the kind of eminent domain that was the basis for Kelo v. New London is a good thing is no conservative and has no respect for private property rights or limited government.

See tag line; though you probably won't be able to read it.

LOL....

You are on a roll, missy! Fun to watch your continued downward spiral, on this thread.

Trump is the ONLY candidate NOT owned by amnesty supporting PACs/donors.

Trump is the ONLY candidate who has employed thousands, worldwide, and has personally had to guarantee a payroll.

We the People are sick and tired of career politicians/government employees.

You can see the support for Trump by his continued, historic GOP FRONTRUNNER status, in the polls - not to mention his packed rallies.

Since YOU cannot read the writing on the wall, we don’t expect you to see the obvious.
