Can’t help it. I was born that way ;)
‘I am trying to learn about Cruz from what I mistakenly thought were the most knowledgeable about him. Instead of an answer I get Trump comments.’
This is a pattern. You ask a question about Cruz, and if you’re fortunate, they immediately criticize Trump. If you’re less fortunate, they attack *you*, and pretty brutally at that.
Bump.
The Publius essays were published anonymously.
Readers did not know who they were (though it was possible to surmise from their other public papers).
Just correcting a falsehood.
Won’t engage insulting idiots.
Your desires are more expansive than mine. I’d be thrilled and delighted if we merely stuck to the issues, as opposed to far too many things beings personalized/ad hominemized straight out of the gate. I doubt either of us will get what we want. Sigh.
That’s been my experience here with some Trump supporters. I have been told often I don’t want to make America great again. Just like last go round with Romney. I hated America and loved Obama. Of course no one has said people not in support/voting for Trump should be shot yet as one did on FR in reference to Romney so there’s that.
Nope. And that is why we lose elections.
Thanks, I will avoid them.
‘It’s also a shame that these people want the Body of Christ to do things for Cruz’s candidacy, not for serving Jesus.’
+1
Great web site. They also have a chat board where you could teach those Catholics a thing or two.
Well said.
I’m not going to read thru a zillion posts when my only question is:
How many states does Cruz win that Romney didn’t? Because I can’t find even one.
If your candidate cannot EXPAND the electoral map, then we are all wasting our time, aren’t we?
“Thatâs a clear potent set of remarks against Cruz, thanks for posting it.”
Although I admired Trump’s gutsy style and straightforward speech about what his plans would be as President, at first, Cruz was my first choice. However, those recordings in Cruz’s own words and the snarky tone of his voice shocked me. It was a completely different side of the man I had listened to so many times before. Having known more
than my share of two-faced government officials and so-called religious people, it was a slap in the face and a wake up indeed and there have been only reinforcements to that impression since.
Donald Trump’s missteps have already been a matter of public scrutiny. He’s just not the kind of fellow who covers things up, even if he knows they won’t be well received. I appreciate him for what he is. If not for him, the politically correct farce that has become our election process would still be ongoing. As it is, and because of Donald Trump, it’s pretty much been turned on its ear.
As Trump said last night at the rally, we don’t have time to be nice and pc anymore. Our nation is hanging in the balance.
...how about an expose on the mainstream Presbyterian USA Church - and it's far left radical liberal orthodoxy that borders on atheism???Speaking of liberals how about the Seventh Day Adventists? Heidi Cruz was raised Seventh Day Adventist, she would be/is the closest person to the wannabe President.

In any given group of people, ~half will have below average IQs. As a result, it’s not uncommon to see supporters hurting their candidate in the name of helping him. More’s the pity.
People claiming to be Christian have less excuse. Even not-brilliant people can understand the Golden Rule. It’s apparently just too tempting to ignore it.
I had the pleasure of watching Rafael Cruz speak last year. He was very inspiring.
I’m not even that religious, so I don’t care about the personal faith of candidates. I care that Cruz is a fearless Constitutionalist.

Sundance Reader seventh edition: “Almost half of the selections are new, including works by William Safire, Jessica Valenti, Robert Reich and Al Gore.” Inquiring minds would like to know the connection between Sundance beliefs and the political leanings of Greetingspunyhumans. Apparently the supporters of Greetingspunyhumans are also supporters of ultra leftist ideologies. See how easy that was GPH? So now please publicly disavow your connections with Gaia beliefs, your support from Robert Reich fanboys, and your status as a mole within the conservative ranks. Actually, connecting your dots was even easier than I thought. Thanks for providing such a rich model.
That’s what I believe about some of these anti-Cruzers as well.
Every year people say that the current election is existential in one form or another. Then everyone runs herd-like to someone. In 2012 people completely pissed away their integrity to be one with the herd and win.
They lost to a communist jihadi that has never spoken one truth outside of “I will side with the Muslims”.
Decisions based in fear are always bad. We are already dead as “America”. Lesser evil fear voting destroyed it. We cannot save whats already gone. We need to rebuild what has been destroyed. And if you rebuild the house on more sand, you’ll only repeat history.
I am the guy that pointed out that LibbyLu agrees with you, if she agreed wit me I would be troubled.
