FYI: I even called the British consulate some years ago to see if I could get UK birthright citizenship since my grandma was born there and the answer was 100% no, since she renounced her citizenship.

Do you read your own posts or mine? "Obama had Brit citizenship because his purported father was a British citizen. Yes, and Donald Trump's mother was a British citizen. Both Obama and Trump had one U.S. parent and one British parent. So whatever could be claimed of one, could be claimed of the other.
I was young and wanted to live in Europe. ;) Just exploring my options!
This is incredibly consequential considering the 5-4 make-up of the court, and considering that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been widely rumored to be considering leaving the court.
If Obama is able to replace Scalia and Ginsburg the Supreme Court could shift to 3-6 in favor of liberal ideological worldview prior to the end of President Obama’s term in office.
