Florida college fires wacky professor who claimed Sandy Hook shooting was staged by government

A wacky Florida college professor who has long insisted the Sandy Hook school shooting was staged by the government was fired Tuesday, just a month after the parents of a child killed in the 2012 Connecticut attack accused him of taunting them.

James Tracy, a tenured associate professor of media history at Florida Atlantic University has made headlines by claiming on his blog that the school shooting, in which 20 children and six adults were killed by a mentally ill gunman, never happened. He made similar claims about the movie shooting rampage in Aurora, Colo., later that year, the 2013 Boston marathon bombing and other mass shootings.

“Tracy is among those who have personally sought to cause our family pain and anguish by publicly demonizing our attempts to keep cherished photos of our slain son from falling into the hands of conspiracy theorists,” Leonard and Veronique Pozner wrote in a Dec. 10 opinion piece for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

The Pozners’ son Noah was one of the children killed in the Dec. 14, 2012, massacre. The still-grieving parents claimed that Tracy sent them a certified letter demanding proof Noah ever existed, then ridiculed them on his blog when they refused to respond.

Tracy previously told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel he considers his conspiracy-mongering a scholarly endeavor.

“I describe myself as a scholar and public intellectual interested in going more deeply into controversial public events,” he said. “Although some may see [my theories] as beyond the pale, I am doing what we should be doing as academics.”

“Most of the CNN interviews were actually actors.”

All of the CNN interviews were actually who they claimed to be.

Funny how there was no footage from more than 10 cameras on the school grounds and no death records of the “victims”.

I read on the Internet that jet fuel does not burn victim's bodies.

Was that tasteless?

“Probably for the same reason people laugh at funerals. Seriously.”

So if your own child was murdered, you would be giddy from laughter? Seriously? Wow, you win the internet.

Little Noah had an open casket funeral, according to the Rabbi and others who were there. The lower part of his face was destroyed and covered with a cloth, and one hand was completely gone.

Many of these conspiracy theorists have claimed the parents’ refusal to provide photos of their dead childrens’ bodies is somehow “proof” that the parents are participating in a conspiracy.
These sick perverts are really just looking for necro-porn, IMO.

Most have a hard time even walking and chewing gum at the same time and even the smartest can't keep a secret for more than five minutes.

That's the thing about big conspiracies....there are so many people involved it would be impossible for some of them not to blab. Or the conspiracy uncovered by bungling.

I used to know a guy who was convinced all pro football games were fixed. Every game. There are thousands of people who either play or work for the NFL. For every one of those people to keep their trap shut is impossible.

But some people are determined. They refuse to be convinced. There was a show on ABC a few years ago debunking every 9/11 conspiracy allegation. They showed it to some group of Truthers. The Truthers refused to accept the facts. Nothing was going to dissuade them. This nut sounds like the same type.

Regardless of whether the professor’s theory was wacky or not, if one wants to call himself a journalist, he should refrain from editorializing in the title. The use of the word “wacky” basically tells us what to think rather than giving us the who, what, where, when and how. Fox, like all of today’s supposedly impartial “journalists”, can go to hell.

No point in arguing it - however, in this case I agree that Sandy Hook was a hoax. Don’t mind if others believe I’m crazy - Americans will one day wake up to how evil and corrupt people - especially many Americans are. A sign of the times.

I’ve seen it myself. People under stress can find the strangest things suddenly funny. Are you seriously say you’ve never heard of this before? Are you really that out of touch with reality?

There's a guy I watch games with every once in a while that thinks the TV networks call the officials during the games to call penalties just to keep the games close so people keep watching.

Yes, he's nuts too, but I have some fun jerking his chain.

Sandy Hook Massacre, FOOTAGE FROM FIRE HALL

this is the one that always had me scratching my head

people walking out the back door then around the fire hall and into the front and those that don’t walk out of one back door and into the other and visa-versa all walking in circles... looks like an ant farm, very weird to say the least

It seems hard to believe that Sandy Hook was fake. But - what really stands out to me is the few evidence photos there are of the school afterwards compared with photos of say the Charlie Hedbo office in France with blood all over, papers strewn about, tables and chairs in disarray or the carnage after the Paris massacres.

At Sandy Hook there is one photo with a small dark stain on some carpet. Photo of a pistol on the floor of a room with the chairs and tables set up, no blood, no papers or clothing in disarray. Also it looks like the rooms were being used for storage. Many of the rooms have table or floor fans in them. It was winter - I would think those would have been put away in storage.

I’s take the case.

Name the school as a def. They would claim it was an un-associated act, I would argue his position with school gave him “standing” to have his claim get more publicity.

School settles for $250-500K, and their insurance company (and others providing such coverage) warns schools to keep tighter rein on their employees.

Seems to me it’s harder to believe that there’s some secret state task force slapping their foreheads because they didn’t set up the fake massacre scene right. I mean, their evil plot would have worked and fooled absolutely everyone if only Agent Joe and his team would have done their research better and made it look bloodier?

No, it’s not a sign of the times.

It’s a sign that 50 years ago, we all pitied the Village Idiot.

20 years ago, TV put him on the news.

Now he has an internet connection and .......

It may not have been an organized conspiracy, but could you perhaps speculate on how the accursed pedophile Jimmy Savile managed to get away with molesting countless children throughout his lifetime, with it only coming to light after his death (and descent into Hell) in 2011?

Yes, but that’s not a conspiracy. Covering up a crime is somewhat different. Savile was the sole perpetrator of the crimes. Conspiracies involve many people committing the crimes all of them endeavoring to keep it quiet.
