Just my opinion, but I don’t think it’s Christian to pray for the death of someone I dislike. I think it is bad for my soul to dwell on such thoughts. I prefer to stay as positive as possible.
I do pray every night that God would remove the corrupt from positions of power and authority (everywhere, not just politics). There are plenty of mechanisms other than death. I just want them to stop creating misery for the rest of us. Also I figure that He knows who they are better than I do. I figure that there are probably a sizable number of corrupt people who are not even on my radar and are doing a lot of damage, so I hope my prayer applies to them as well. Yes, I think about 0vomit and Hitlery, but I pray for the deliverance of the rest of us and I leave it up to Him as to who needs to go and to handle the details of how to do that. (I do not discount the possibility of redemption for anyone.)
Yes, I’d love to see Bill, Hitlery, and 0vomit in prison. My Schadenfreude would be off the meter. I’m human. I hope He forgives me.
