Cruz, Rubio Presidential Eligibility Challenged In FL, VT, and MD!
The Marshall Report ^ | January 7th, 2016 | Dianne Marshall

Posted on 01/07/2016 1:51:32 PM PST by Mariner

Well, so far complaints involving the ineligibility for Cruz, Rubio and Jindal to run for president have been filed in three states. Florida, Vermont, and MD. It appears all these people have to do is show proof of the eligibility requirements to run for president as stated in the constitution. So far none have, however Jindal has dropped out so it is moot for him. (Citizenship is not the same as the naturalization requirements for citizenship to run for President as stated in the constitution.)

For some odd reason, Cruz has had his birth records sealed. He’ll have to answer the reason why himself. Heaven forbid if we speculate on that one. It does appear very strange especially if he has nothing to hide? He did show his Canadian Birth Certificate and his paper denouncing his Canadian citizenship, but he has not shown any consulate papers. That must be what he has sealed. So if Cruz will just show proof of the proper papers there should be no problem. But, so far he has not and avoids the subject when asked.

Rubio, will be very difficult to prove as neither of his parents were citizens until five years after he was born.

‘Gee, will the cases be dismissed due to lack of standing?’

Hmmm. I wonder.

Are the candidates black? Are they liberal?

If yes, then almost certainly the cases will be dismissed.

White and conservative?

It’s anybody’s guess...

My son could post his birth certificate also. It shows (if you can read German) that he was born in an Army hospital in Germany and his parents were American citizens. That makes him a German citizen.

What is required past that is the paperwork that had to be submitted to the State Dept. to register his birth with the US Government and to have him put on my passport. That made him an American citizen beyond all doubt.

Past that, he can provide the birth certificates of both of his parents, showing we were born in the US and if necessary, birth certificates of grandparents.

What makes any one think that a picture of a Canadian birth certificate is proof of citizenship? And where is any and all of the other documents?

Concern trolls are concerned, aren’t they?

It’s a non-issue to everyone except radical Democrats and Trumpies.

1000. Same as always. We have a knack. And Shirona has little to do with it.

It isn’t Trump’s eligibility that’s being questioned.

Stirring the pot for Trump again? No one with clout has said anything but he is natural born.
Do you sense Trump losing control or something?
There is a marvelous alternative. His name is Teddy Cruz. He has been a conservative since birth, has an impeccable record, fought in the courts for all conservative Americans, went to the senate and did exactly what he told them he would do.
He always speaks kindly to everyone, even those trying to belittle him. He has more knowledge of American history and the constitution than probably all other candidates running including the dems. He is fearless and stands up for what he believes. He does not take political slams personally because well he has a healthy attitude and does not need to be loved by all to be a contented man. If only we had enough of him to fill the house and senate what a wonderful world this would be.

There is no reason to believe it will help Trump and will only help Democrats so it seems that we’re getting a look behind the curtain.

It’s an issue because they make it one. It’s bad enough that the human garbage of the DNC does. It’s pathetic that our so called side does.

I personally do not like it when any candidate has any information sealed from the public. Not cool.

They’d damn better be.

And I personally would LOVE it if Cruz copied the exact same kind of phony BC as Obama and put it online. Oh, that would be rich to hear the Dems cry “But this is clearly a forgery!” And have all the document analysts on all their shows.

Dream on. Cruz has facts. Trump has innuendo and the leftist art of going Alinsky.

And yet here you are spending two days of your life panic posting all over FR defending Cruz's citizenship status. Me thinks you are not so confident in Cruz's facts.

Was Rubio born here ???

I don’t think either of his parents were American citizens as yet when he was born...they were still Cubans

The mother of Cruz was born here to American citizen parents..

So who exactly has “standing” to file these suits??? Lots of different people and organizations tried it with Obama, but no one had standing according to the various courts. I would think that these actions would hit the same roadblock — - at least they should in an impartial legal system.

If every lawyer who said he has the facts were correct there’d be no need for courts. Cruz has opinions, like everyone else.

I agree. However, look what crap makes up ‘the public’. I don’t blame people for making it hard for leftists to slit their throats.

"Would anyone in their right mind say my child was not an American citizen?"

Clearly and likely indisputably that child would be an American Citizen. I also believe you would be responsible enough to fill out the proper paperwork and obtain a Consular Report of Birth Abroad so that you would have something besides a Canadian Birth Certificate and an assertion to prove it. Or, immediately obtain a Passport for the child via the same process.

These things are also done post facto up to the age of 18 years.

But, did the Cruz take that route...or just go to Texas 4 years later and start living a normal life?

We should require documentary proof for EVERY POTUS candidate.
