Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made a radical promise last night to a crowd in Vermont of what he will do his first day in office concerning guns.
"You know what a gun free zone is to sickos? That's bait!" Trump said.
"I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools, and -- you have to -- and on military bases. My first day, it gets signed, okay? My first day. There's no more gun-free zones."

How many Supreme Court cases has Trump won protecting the 2nd Amendment and Religious Liberty? Trump was still supporting Amnesty when Cruz was fighting to defeat the Gang of 8 Bill.

President Trump will not be bound by any silly laws. Get over it.
That would have been the correct name for the original “Gun-Free School Zones Act” in 1990.
This repeal act would be called the “10th Amendment Restoration Act - Part 1.”
How many jobs has Cruz created? He’s been supported by taxpayers and never even worked in private industry, much less created jobs.

And you brought up amnesty, out of the blue. For no reason.
Cruz’s stance on the illegals here has changed even since the campaign started. He doesn’t seem to have a set plan, but it evolves as his donors speak and as he follows Trump’s lead when he sees Trump’s plan is popular.
Cruz has been silent on immigration, both legal and illegal, for most of his campaign. The others came out with detailed policies - and Cruz said... nothing. He did say, build a wall, but said the American people didn’t want to discuss what to do with all the illegals. Huh? I switched to Trump because I sure the hell did want it discussed! Now, he has finally come out with a plan, but the details about dealing with the illegals here are vague. He says deportation is an option, along with other things. What other things? Citizenship? He adds to it, bit by bit, when cornered. It’s very disingenuous.
Trump isn’t perfect, no candidate is. But I will vote for Trump!
Trump actually DOES things & makes things happen. Cruz. . . not so much.
About the only thing Cruz makes is a lot of noise. And a lot of excuses for doing the wrong things.

EXACTLY - we’re past the point of having enough time to play politics with the GOPe in Congress and ESPECIALLY the completely politicized courts.
What Trump is forced to do may not be pretty, but neither were some of FDR’s actions in WW2, and one can argue that the country faces a threat that is on the level of that war.
...and I simply don’t see Cruz being up to that, and thus not getting much done in the White House.

Yeah, Emperor Trump don’t need no stinking laws. And he’ll be huuuuge.
That is he the problem with senators. Their training is to litigate and talk a lot and to direct things like little kings and queens. That is how the senate works. Whether it is Cruz, McCain, Hillary, Rand Paul whatever senator their training is to talk a lot and stay away from Main Street as much as possible.
Trump on the other hand is firmly grounded in reality where things have to get done and accomplished, where money is made and value is created.
Trump spends his own money and realizes how hard it is to make. Senators spend other people’s money and have no clue how to earn it or how to create value.
Agree, he will be AWESOME!
