You really have to hand it to the Clintons. If nothing else, they are some of the ballsiest liars on the face of the earth. If Billy Mays were resurrected from the dead and asked to pitch the latest thing Hillary Clinton is selling, he would no doubt respond, “Sorry, I have my professional reputation to think about.†The facts, of course, are that State Department was forced, virtually at gunpoint, to turn over an email in which Hillary Clinton is discussing getting some classified talking points from one of her underlings. The secure fax on which they were supposed to be sent apparently was experiencing problems, so Hillary said, verbatim, “turn into nonpaper w no identifying heading and send nonsecure.†This is not my interpretation of what she said, these are her exact words, which you can see with your own eyes here.
This particular email is so damaging to the narrative that Hillary has been trying to spin that she was forced to sally forth and offer an explanation to the press. Her explanation? Never happened.

None of that matters, Obama can pardon her in his last minutes in office whether or not she has been charged indicted or convicted of any crime.
He may pardon her for any crime or crimes she may have committed.
Gerald Ford opened up that can of worms when he pardoned Nixon, exactly in that manner.
Maybe Hillary is trying to say, "I didn't ask for it to be done, I ordered for it to be done." I mean, it's a possible semantic explanation for how Clinton's statement might be technically true . . .
If it weren’t for a biased and sycophantic media, Hillary’s running for POTUS would be a joke. An honest media would have exposed her long ago as a liar and would be digging into the obvious corruption at the Clinton Foundation. However the media did the same for Obama
Think about this.If she were indicted and Sanders was the candidate it would be like conceding the election. Zero chance Obama allows that no matter his feelings about Hillary personally. As much as i’d like to wake up and read her diary from prison every day it simply cannot be allowed.
I posted in anther thread about all the filing deadlines that have passed. At think point those running are it. It’s simply too late for Biden. Obama will do whats best for his party under the guise of he can’t allow a Republican to win the White House.
I want to be wrong in worst way but Obama simply will not allow it.
Yea, there are some conservatives who are optimistic, but I don’t know what this is base on. Obama is corrupt.

Independents who vote Democrat could... but they aren’t going to vote for someone referred for indictment or actually indicted.

Deadlines? Rules? These didn’t apply when Torricelli was damaged goods in New Jersey and Lautenberg came off the bench. The party and the courts will do whatever they want.
Seriously, I don’t think Hillary knows how to print from a computer so she wanted faxes. Converting it to “nonpaper” was probably her way of saying “just send it electronically so I can at least read it even if I don’t have a paper copy.”
The fact that she used the term without explanation in the email would indicate that she’d used it before and expected Sullivan to know what she meant.
And again, everyone is assuming that the email in question indicates that she was telling him to declassify it and send it non-secured. It’s entirely possible (I think highly probable) that all she was saying was send the damned things to me electronically but remove the heading so prying eyes couldn’t easily spot them as talking points.

He secretly flew to Washington in a SR-71 to do this and kept the flight under wraps.

Your reference states that a “non-paper” is a summary of the Talking Points actually delivered summarized by someone at the presentation. I guess that could make sense. The heading of the email could indicate the subject that the Talking Points covered, and were delivered to, and in their absence (because the couldn’t be faxed to her securely), she asked that someone prepare a summary (a non-paper) of the points delivered since she couldn’t receive the Talking Points themselves.
That’s all assumption, of course, as is the assumption that the resulting non-paper also needed to be classified, but that she ordered the classification stripped.
Look, Hillary belongs in jail, or at least needs to be booted from office, and the Dems are crazy for nominating her as their presidential candidate. But there’s a whole lot of assuming going on as regards this particular email exchange. That’s all I’m saying.
I think we’re in agreement about this. There isn’t enough information here to determine whether she ordered classification markings stripped or not. What we do know, however, is that she set up a system whereby 1300 classified documents were mishandled outside the approved, secure channels of the federal government. That’s a lot of felonies.
Agreed. She belongs in jail. But perhaps not for the reason being assumed in this thread. A lot of assumptions are being made, all of which could be incorrect.

So they are covering her either way. They won't release any classified emails so we won't see any evidence if the doc was classified. Then she can lie like you point out. Or State Dept will show us an unclassified email and say this was the one she was referring to.
