Have we ever had any candidate with so many business interests and income? I think of Rockefeller but he did’t make it — Roosevelt? Kennedy? but I think those 3 all just lived on family-provided income. Just thinking here at 8:30 in the morn.

"He'll pretty much have all his business interests transferred to his kids."

That would be a taxable event. A series of taxable events that could have ramifications effecting partners.

He has numerous real-estate partnerships, interest in gaming operations, etc. Very hard to foresee what kind of blind-trust organization would be appropriate for such a diverse set of enterprises.

How exactly you could put something like "Trump Tower" in a blind trust, I dunno.

Most presidents I can think of come from family money. I can’t think of a president that earned as much and has been as successful in business at Donald Trump. I think GWB was involved in business more than most. He co-owned the Texas Rangers for instance. But not anywhere near the scale of Trump.

According to this reporter’s twitter, Trump had people thrown out who were loudly yelling that he was “boring” and he needed to “tell some jokes!”

I’m sure his lawyers are working on this for just-in-case he does win. Be interesting to have been the fly on the wall when his entire family met to weigh the pros and cons for his run. It truly does involve all of them (and all of us).

Tried cspan radio to see if quality better. Had Hillary on. In a monotone voice she says “vote for me and fathers will be able to tell their daughters you can be anything.” She is running on her lady parts.

Blind trust.

Check Obama tax records. He gets income from family trust
Nothing says his children cannot be administrators of trust and all continue to receive income
The administration officers decide what investments are bought sold etc DT would turn that all over to his older children (unless he chooses to keep one with him at the WH as chief of staff more than likely Eric )

Trump and Cruz tied in Iowa per the above link. This should add some excitement to the race/ threads. Pass the word and link.
Nothing boring about this election. LOL

The cost would be astronomical for that building.

Use the metro to get out to Northern VA and 100$ motels(?)

I have family to stay with. Travel into DC and parking was expensive then, 25$or more, now?...FR had a nice hotel and great plan about like all inclusive wedding pricing...we could do it again! Walk-up people paid 100$ per and were glad to pay it.

FR had another banquet in DC and it was a smaller room, but we filled every seat there. I remember a third party and it too was a sell-out( second Bush inaugural? ) Children’s room and some vendors with great FR merchandise. There is not a huge DC group anymore but I bet we could still do it!
