Donald Trump: The Establishment Candidate
Ron Paul's website ^ | December 18, 2015 | Ron Paul

Posted on 01/11/2016 2:28:44 PM PST by TBP

The big question is, is Donald Trump anti-establishment or is he more likely to save the current system, than to challenge it. If our current crisis that concerns so many is a consequence of a deeply flawed centrally planned economic system, manipulated by the Federal Reserve, a foreign policy of occupation and preemptive war and a systematic attack on our civil liberties here at home, how will Trump be helpful in finding a solution? Is Donald Trump arguing for any significant change in policy or is he advocating only a different management style? What policy does he actually propose that the current bipartisan leadership doesn’t support?

Even his outlandish statements attacking the liberties of Muslims as a group through sharp criticism from both Republicans and Democrats, but in the past they have supported similar policies of FDR, Jimmy Carter, JFK and others. So, essentially they defend Trump’s views while pretending them to be outrageous. Essentially all of Trump’s positions have been endorsed by a majority of Republicans and Democrat leaderships. The frightened masses are flocking to this decisive leader believing that he will protect and take care of them.

Trump’s agreement with the current establishment is never mentioned

I’m going with everything the Cruz supporters and others have said about Trump and me.

I’m voting for Trump because he is the establishment.

I’m voting for him because he’s a celebrity.

I’m voting for him because he’s a phony.

I’m voting for him because he’s a populist.

I’m voting for him because he’s going to take our guns.

I’m voting for him because he’s for big government.

I’m voting for him because he’s for single payer.

I’m voting for him because he’s a crony capitalist.

I’m voting for him because he’s a racist.

I’m voting for him because he’s just mean to women.

I’m voting for him because he wants to give it all to Hillary.

I’m voting for him because he’s a Democrat stooge.

I’m voting for him because he’s Batman.

I’m voting for him because he’s Anita.

I’m voting for him because Trump treated me like the victim in the movie Deliverance.

I’m voting for him because he’s just like Hitler.

I’m voting for him because I’m a Hitler supporter.

I’m voting for him because I’m not a Christian.

I’m voting for him because I’m a Leftist.

This is what seemingly sane people think.

Why not go with it? Perhaps they’ll gain comfort and avoid the total meltdown when Trump trumps.

None of this is true, but the Crews have spoken...

Believe what you want Crewzers!

Yeah, I’ve heard that so many times. So prior to Trump entering the race, where was you candidate speaking out about the largest problem we have, an open border and rampant illegal immigration. It doesn’t matter what your candidate had said before or what his stance has been, he made no significant attempt to make this the number one issue that it is. So you can say what you want, but Trump made it known that an open border and illegal immigration is the number one issue. Without fixing this, we don’t have a country, and our principles are meaningless.

You just don't get it. The Crewzers insist their lawyer is better than the democrat lawyer and being a lawyer is a good thing because "this time it will be different".

The establishment first of all is totally pro-amnesty, just ask Rubio.

Secondly, the establishment goes along with 2nd Amendment infringement, in fact they stay quiet on 1st Amendment infringement.

Lastly, establishment is pro taxation without representation. At least no true representation.

So where do you see Trump in all this?

There’s a video out there with him saying the 14th does make the children of illegals instant citizens when born here.

That’s Ted’s expert opinion.

Other expert’s opinions don’t jive with that at all.

I have never agree that it does.

You have to go back to what was trying to be achieved by the 14th. Was it to protect the rights of foreign national’s and their newborns?

No.

He was speaking out on the floor of the Senate, fighting hard against open borders and illegal immigration when Trump was still for amnesty.

He knows most Conservatives will roll over and go to sleep after he gives them a good speech job without caring about his record. That's the main reason he's doing well.

That is great that he was fighting for it on the Senate Floor. He however still had the opportunity to make it the number one priority during his campaign and didn’t.

“Is Donald Trump arguing for any significant change in policy or is he advocating only a different management style?”

Yep.
CLOSE THE EFFIN border.
DEPORT THE ILLEGALS.
That’s a good enough start for me.

The Free Republic anti Trump brigade is on the same side as Wapo, Salon, Ron Paul and a host of other leftist and GOPe Twerps. Says a lot about them.

I have yet to see one Cruz supporter make a negative comment concerning the person that made the Deliverance comment I mentioned.

They have known liars who post untruth for months many times per day, and none of the Cruz folks have a problem with it.

Read those things I mentioned and you soon come away realizing these folks to a man/woman agree with using Democrat/Republican tactics to destroy other public figures by any means necessary. Never the less, they trash Trump and his followers for being Leftist.

Those Cruz supporters, the GOPe, the democrats, the MSM, the blogspots, talking heads, and pundits have been on the same page for seven months now.

That’s a Leftist smear and outright lie page.

There’s more truth in that than a lot of folks think.

Why don't you two Cruz-bashers get a private room for a little quality time?

But before you go, perhaps you can name me a quality conservative candidate with a spotless record on immigration, trade, and 2A, so that I may go worship at his feet.

They're all politicians running in a ruptured field before a corrupted electorate whose values have been debased by Hollywood and academe. I wish Sam Rayburn and Robert Taft and Barry Goldwater were on the ballot, but we aren't that lucky these days.

We're lucky we aren't speaking Mandarin .... yet. Thanks to Obotulism.

Nasty and repetitive? Isn't that a bit much?

As for the "get a room" reference, you earned it -- you guys were a bit too comfy in your smugness and mutual admiration.

Please try to keep it out of sight of the children.
