Trump has 'knockout' strategy to beat GOP establishment
WND ^ | 1/11/2016

In his latest interview with talk-host Michael Savage, Republican presidential primary front-runner Donald Trump was asked what he will do if the GOP establishment tries to "cut him out" of the nomination. Trump drew on his experience hosting prizefights, including 17 bouts featuring Mike Tyson.

"When the fighter goes into the other fighter's home territory, his home territory, they'll always say, the only way I'm going to win is, 'I gotta knock him out,'" he explained.

"The way you knock him out is to just win the primaries. If I win the primaries, if I can win in Iowa and win in New Hampshire and win in South Carolina, where I have very big leads, you know, there's nothing anybody can do, frankly."

A new Fox News poll has him beating Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton in the general election, 47-44 percent.

Asked about his popularity with African-Americans, Trump pointed out some polls show him getting 25 percent of the vote in that demograhic.

He recalled an "announcer" remarking, "Well, wait a minute, if this is true, that means the election is over. Trump wins automatically."

Savage said he believes Trump will also do well among Hispanics, because of a "macho culture" that prefers male leadership.

While it's assumed that a tough stance on illegal immigration will erode support from Hispanics, Trump argued Hispanics don't want people coming into the country illegally and taking their jobs. He pointed to a Quinnipiac poll released Monday has him ahead in Iowa, which means he has the lead in every state, according to some polls.

"We're doing well, and people want to see something happen," he said.

He said he hates to use the term "change," because it was Obama's campaign theme in 2008.

Crippled America: How to Make America Great Again

Awesome book and perfect antidote for the “Trump has no specifics” lie. Trump, if anything, is the ultimate pragmatist, he wants results and uses common sense to D.C.’s troubles.

Subjects covered include taxes, education, immigration, foreign policy, military, veterans, trade, jobs and much more.
The solutions presented are not ideological, but really common sense that seems to evade D.C. and the press. What impressed me most is how Trump comes across: Honest, really loves America and wants to genuinely fix the broken system. And with his extensive success in the business world, I believe h

Even a casual review of the extreme Cruz supporters (and I support Cruz AND Trump) shows that they brought on the current state of affairs. I have had nothing negative to say about Ted Cruz, I have taken issue with some of his strategy, but I would be more than ok pulling the lever for him.

Trump supporters did not go looking for a fight with Cruz supporters, and my esteemed FRiends DoughtyOne and StephenJohnBanker can tell you all about that.

As for the “other candidates”, to hell with them. My tagline (for this post) explains that perfectly.

Trump campaigns directly to Americans----he invariably includes us in his campaign themes.....underlining that we are the government, after all.

Look at Hillary....campaigning to vaginas, fornicators, abortionists, ethnicities, skin colors, chaos, anarchy....and all the Foundation donors she and Bill are beholden to, waiting for payback.

Either that or NBC told him to shut up. If it is a choice between ratings and Ramos, they will choose ratings all day long.

“Notice how the Chamber folks and their allies have stopped talking about a “brokered convention”?”
.....Yep. I have heard nothing about it lately.”..........

Perhaps the bastards are using some of Trump’s tactics like, “Never tell them what you’re planning”, “Don’t give up your advantage”.

The reality is that many Cruz supporters are telling outright LIES about Trump. I don’t see the same vitriol and lies coming from the Trump folks. Sure there are some Trump people unfairly portraying Cruz, but no nearly as many. Let’s hope everyone calms down a bit here.

The only problem I have with Cruz is he is on the Cheap Labor Express™. He want to increase the H-1B visa quota 5 fold. I can never forgive him for that.

This is EXACTLY my problem with Cruz, and it is a deal killer for me. Our country will live or die on stopping legal and illegal immigration, and on deporting the 20-30 million illegals here. Tens of millions of Americans who want to work, are out of work. Both parties are CRIMINALS in this regard!

Next time someone tries to hang Trump on charitable giving, remind them of this.

He was in good company.....these ‘good’ conservatives also gave $$ or their time to promote the Clinton Foundation/initiative.

Newsmax Media, Inc. The media company, which has billed itself as operating the “#1 Conservative Site in the Nation,”

Richard M. Scaife.

News Corporation Foundation

James R. Murdoch. Murdoch, the co-chief operating officer of Fox News parent company 21st Century Fox and son of Rupert Murdoch,

Many Republican Party-affiliated individuals have attended and supported Clinton Foundation-affiliated events, including the annual Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) meetings. They include former first lady Laura Bush, Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch, former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Sen. John McCain, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, Republican billionaire T. Boone Pickens, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Bush Treasury secretary Hank Paulson, and former first daughter Barbara Bush.

Romney spoke to CGI in the middle of his 2012 presidential campaign and praised President Clinton for having “devoted himself to lifting the downtrodden around the world. One of the best things that can happen to any cause, to any people, is to have Bill Clinton as its advocate.”

McCain spoke to CGI in September 2008 during his own presidential run, and also praised its efforts, stating: “You know something about great change at the Clinton Global Initiative, because you are striving every day to bring it about. I thank each one of you for the good work you have done to relieve suffering across the earth, and to spread hope. I thank you for the even greater works that you seek to accomplish in the years to come, under the leadership of the man from Hope.”

Laura Bush appeared at CGI in 2006 and said she was “delighted to be a part of this year’s Clinton Global Initiative. Thank you for inviting me, and thank you for the terrific development work you’re doing through your foundation.”

I don’t like this source either, but there are plenty of others. Facts are facts no matter where you find them.

Cruz is my #2. I get tired of being called. “Liar” by nameless Freepers because I happen to think Pres. Cruz would be far, far less effective than Pres. Trump.

I agree. And the most childish thing I see are the juvenile taunts from the Trump-haters saying "well if you feel THAT way about Ted Cruz, well I'll just NEVER even THINK about voting for Trump, so THERE!!!"

I mean, Jesus, Mary & Joseph, are such people so thin skinned and emotionally impaired that they would let someone on a discussion board sway their mind to NOT vote for some candidate all because they got their clock cleaned in the give-and-take of discussion and debate?!?

You're right, everyone needs to calm down and hopefully soon.

You are correct. There is really no comparison in leadership ability or experience. For 35 years, Trump has successfully commanded an army of employees, and has dealt with politicians from cities, counties, state and federal. Not even in the same ball park.
