I guess that must be true if you are a Marco supporter.

That was incredibly lame. Of course, so is Jeb! Bush.
And I’m not a Rubio supporter. I just think Jeb! is a turd.

Um, how many people under the age of, say, 50 even remember that song? What a stupid commercial.

...most Republican consultants had the pop culture knowledge of 80 year old men... So does their candidate. "These Boots Were Made For Walkin'" is, by now, comfortably retro and uncomfortably ironic given the subject. Yeb has had this problem with his campaign team from day one. It's as if they're all trying to run a political operation in a foreign country, which, I suspect, they are.
To: jimbo123
I don’t think it was lame. Ads these days have to grab your attention. It did that.
I would like to see the outtakes of the guy doing the dancing.

WTH--Rubio should have been Bush's veep--but Bush fell under Rubio's fruit wagon. So obviously go back to Nancy Sinatra and 1968 for a song that was unbearably bad then and has no connection now to anyone under 60. Tell us about the cool things you'd rather be doing and whether you want your wheelchair in the sun or the shade.

I'm not a Rubio supporter but making a COMMERCIAL over someone's shoes???? Seriously Jeb. It would be akin to someone making a commercial over your stupid glasses.
I think Jeb's a nice guy and was a productive governor. But he has got to give up this aspiration. Trump got under his skin SO quickly that Bush lost all leverage.

Ridiculously funny! I’m old enough to remember Nancy Sinatra singing “These boots are made for walking”, but I imagine a lot of voters are not. Now we need a song about “cross eyed Jeb” under that photo of him with one eye turned in, with his cross eyed view of the world. Give it up Jeb...I’d like to say while you have some dignity left, but too late.

Those who don't think the ad is that bad need to read the article about why it is. The author clearly points out that Rubio’s voters trend towards Millennial voters and that using a song that was from the 60’s is dumb.
Unless Nope! (my new acronym for his campaign) is trying to reach those few over 70-somethings that are undecided between the two of them . . .

Not sure how that’s intended to help Bush. His consultants may as well be putting the paddles on a body that’s been floating bloated, feeding the gulls, for a week.
