Wearing black jackets adorned with a symbol of a Viking and the Finnish flag, the "Soldiers of Odin" have surfaced as self-proclaimed patriots patrolling the streets to protect native Finns from immigrants, worrying the government and police.
On the northern fringes of Europe, Finland has little history of welcoming large numbers of refugees, unlike neighbouring Sweden. But as with other European countries, it is now struggling with a huge increase in asylum seekers and the authorities are wary of any anti-immigrant vigilantism.
A group of young men founded Soldiers of Odin, named after a Norse god, late last year in the northern town of Kemi. This lies near the border community of Tornio, which has become an entry point for migrants arriving from Sweden....

If the Government and the police were doing their job they would not need to worry about the Soldiers of Odin.
It’s not the rape-a-thon that has the government there worried or concerned, it’s the people taking things into their own hands that the government won’t do to protect its citizens from the guests they invited in.
Soldiers of Thor, soon to be branded as Neo Nazi racists by the Liberal Media. You know, sometimes I wonder, could it be that some people are more comfortable with living with their own kind, than being pressured into diversity? Is there any place in the world where they can do that besides China, India, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, or Japan? Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark are Viking lands, why is it strange that some of them wish to keep it as such? Its more than national heritage, its the blood of generations. Call it Viking Pride! Living as a guest in the land of the Norse doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve become an instant Viking. The Finns aren’t to be messed with, they are small in number, but they will fight to the finish. (No pun intended) (My uncle fought there in Oct of 39, I’m glad I didn’t have to mess with him. The Russians put a price on his head.)

But I doubt the current migrants are ethnic Swedes ...

Don't the Finns have their own Finno-Ugrian deities?
May Odin and Thor (and everyone else ) help and protect them. Europe needs more of this.
What we have now isn't the natural order of things no matter how badly we may wish it were so.
There would be no problem if the Finns had just said “No!” to Muslims.

A few weeks ago I watched a movie about the Winter War when the Finns battled the Russians in one of the coldest winters in Europe. Some Finns in winter white silently ambushed a Russian partrol, cutting their throats from behind and supporting them until they bleed out and froze, leaving the frozen corpses standing for the follow on Russians.
The segment came after a woman veteran held a pukka knife and called it a weapons system. Nearly fell on the floor hearing that.
