Despite President Obama's belief that gun laws will cut violence, 47 percent believe it "will have no impact" on crime and a surprising 15 percent said it will increase violent crime, according to a new gun control poll.
Rasmussen Reports looked at the public's view of gun control a week after Obama presented his latest executive action and found little belief in his effort.

The 41% who trust FedGov on guns are probably all parasites who want government to have absolute power. They expect redistribution of wealth to give them everything they dream of. It's sad to see them wasting their lives living the democratic socialist "dream", even if that is their choice.

Liberals pretend otherwise, but the Bible gives the loving response. It's not even about the taxes taken from those who earned the money. It's far more about the extreme harm that an attitude of entitlement to unearned charity does to able-bodied people who receive something for nothing.
The story I read recently said that home invasions went thru the roof after the Brits turned in their guns,especially for older Brits.
Kinda like some youngsters who actually WORK their way through college appreciate it a whole lot more than those that feel entitled to an (ahem) education.

Question:
Is it a chronic problem (especially in blue states and major blue cities like Chicago) were a good number of Federal, State and local guns laws (already on the books) are NOT been enforced?
The 41 percent are composed of people who either will not be affected by fed gun control (like the feds themselves) and those who erroneously THINK they won’t be affected.
What happened to the big load of Bernie Sanders that 90% of gun owners want Intergalactic Background Checks?
Has 90% of the country agreed on anything?
Controlling guns will not make a difference what will is controlling the criminals. Arrest the thugs using the guns to kill and keep them behind bars or execute them..
I for one need my gun to protect myself and family from these criminals..
Before getting all worked up lets consider this: Even tho the govt tries to paint themselves as ‘in control’ anyone whos been paying attention knows this just isnt true. If they cant keep track of a relatively few illegals how will they keep track of all the guns and the facilites to manufacture them? Even IF they could track them all down, gather them up and put them somewhere out of civilian hands it wouldnt be enough. That operation would deplete the ranks of gathers to nearly nothing by itself. Then theres the work of trying to figure out where all of the ‘boot leg’ manufactures are setting up shop. It short the horse is out of the barn never to come back again. The more the govt pushes back the more resistance theyll encounter. Theyve lost and weve won. They need to get over themselves already.
I’m just curious as to how many “illegal gun possessing criminals” were questioned during the polling...
If Obama cared about violence he would STOP letting criminals out of prison early.

Only 28% trust the FedGov. 13% only say they are “unsure”, which probably means they do not trust them, but are unwilling to tell a pollster that is the case.
