These are the values Trump defended last night. According to Trump, , hey, NY suffered a lot 15 years go, so, their values,( unlike everyone else's), are above criticism. And Trump DOES hold a lot of NY values.
Cruz was right, Donald was wrong, he has too much deference for left wing extremist partisans (Like Lawrence Tribe, Trump's favorite "jurist," who has exactly the same view of the Constitution as Obama: "it says whatever you want it to say").
He goes back 2/3 of a century to find William F Buckley emerging as a conservative from NYC in 1954

Given the incest and Deliverance-type jokes that moneyed New Yorkers tend to toss around about Southerners, I'm impressed that Trump is getting significant traction in the South.

Nobody on that stage last night is going to be a VP candidate, except maybe Fiorina, though I doubt it. Whoever gets the Prez nomination will pick somebody who has not been part of this fracas.

I don’t know. It would be interesting to learn how positively or negatively the reaction would be in the various 50 states to the terms “New York values” or “California Values” or such. My inclination is that it would be pretty slantedly negative, just based on anecdotes.
A lot of libs from those states have moved in to ‘flyover’ over country, bringing their liberalism with them, and led to a lot of really, really bad feelings.
I have problems with Ted being a lawyer and as a first term senator, think about JFK and Obama.
However, this bs from a dying NY newspaper will help Ted like the negative bs from liberal mediots helps Trump!
NYC has changed since 9/11, and the current mayor is a prime example of NY sinking level of morality.
There are still good people in NYC, but they are rapidly becoming a minority as NYC adopts more Gay Frisco morality.
Ted should use this fishwrap’s cover in the other states beside NY and of course my state, Californicator land.
Ted should have his researchers to check on how many NYCers live in Floriduh for the winter and vote in both Floriduh and NYC in presidential elections.
New York should turn the Statue over to its rightful owners: New Jersey.

You've been dreaming. Cruz is a Conservative, Trump is a liberal. If cruz were to take a VP chair from Trump, it would be the end of his career, and all his support would evaporate.
How about Ted as AG. President Trump could fire all of the left wing lawyers in the in Justice department. Then, AG Ted could clean out the rest of the trash on JD.
Next Ted could send the criminals in DC to jail.
Then, whenever, a Scotus position comes up, Ted gets appointed.

Not in the least. Any decent people living in Chicago know that it’s a liberal cesspool, and any decent people living in New York City know their city is a liberal cesspool too.

The dying Daily News has made a conscious decision to go out with the bang of a suicide bomber. In the last few weeks it has gone insane. After the San Bernadino Islamic terror spree, their front page was a mocking attack on Republican politicians for engaging in Christian prayer about it. Not a bad word to say about the murderers though. They have no interest in being hebdoed.
