Which is why Ted should have qualified it better. He could have struck out at the media, NY elites, Wall Street fat cats (though that's risky with Heidi's occupation) billionaires (Trump) etc., but he simply said "New York values"...there's a lot of blue collar, working class people in NY too, and the media will milk that for all it's worth. Something else that will take him off message and focus.

Not in the least. Any decent people living in Chicago know that it’s a liberal cesspool, and any decent people living in New York City know their city is a liberal cesspool too.
