Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz issued an apology to "millions of New Yorkers" at a campaign event Friday - but it's probably not the one they were looking for.
"I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by liberal politicians," Cruz told an audience in South Carolina.

I’m having some difficulty sorting all this out but I was somewhat put off by the way the man from NY who says whatever comes to mind about whoever acted so righteously indignant when someone says something about his home state. Donald has been turning the stove up on high but now the kitchen is too hot for him?
Wow! Your angst is felt to a broad range of states that went Obama in the last election - as you put it basis their values: Maryland (which just elected a Republican governor), Florida, Virginia et al.
Basis their Presidential voting records, one could say Maryland values or Virginia values or even Pennsylvania values or whatever.
Cruz is digging himself a national hole as he tries to save himself in IA. And the more he digs the hole the more shrill become his followers.
I thought this was a Presidential election underway. Cruz is still generally unknown, but the developing 'known' things are all bad to winning an election and you are not helping his cause.

What Ted said in the debate was spot on and I find it dumbfounding that anybody except liberal New Yorkers finds what Ted Cruz said in the debate offensive. You can also lump in a lot of big cities across the country along with NYC. If it wasn’t for these liberal cesspools we wouldn’t have Obama.

I don’t see how anyone could lose to Hillary...She’s horrible and should be in jail but there are a lot of crazy liberals in the country.

Indeed, I was shouting and cheering when Ted said that. Thought it was his finest line. We’ve had 7 years of “New York values”. We’ve had enough.
Hillary really isn't a very good debater and now, she's even worse than she used to be. OTOH, she has the ability to completely throw off anyone who is used to really debating. Ted STINKS off the cuff and isn't a speedy thinker on his feet. Hillary will eat him alive, immediately, and then keep on beating his ashes.
OTOH, Trump is far better than she is at cowing an opponent.

While you sleep, Trump, who functions on 4-5 hours of sleep per night is working away, preparing to be President. That’s why he will be and you won’t.

This is not a recent phenomena. He’s been that way all his working life. Has stood him in pretty good stead, hasn’t it. Wish I could get by on 4-5 hours sleep, but I can’t.

Nothing says gravitas like “Trump is a NY Liberal. Nener, nener, nener.” No substance or issue there. Cruzman Sachs is desperate and this is his last card.
