DONALD TRUMP IS LOSING IT ON TWITTER AND YOU CAN THANK TED CRUZ FOR IT!!

Earlier we posted the frenzied tweetstorm that the Donald had flung at Ted Cruz, and how Cruz posted a pretty funny response, and Mark Levin warned Trump to cut the crap.

But this is Trump, so he ain’t taking advice from nobody:

If Ted Cruz is so opposed to gay marriage, why did he accept money from people who espouse gay marriage?

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Maybe because they believe in other things too? That’s kinda how you do politics – you prioritize your political preferences, because unless you’re an unthinking mindless zombie, you’re never going to agree 100% with a politician. Oh wait.. that reminds me of…

I don’t really understand that. Must be a New Yorker thing.

Per PPP, only 35% of Iowa Republicans think that a foreign born person should be president.

The more this gets out, the more Cruz is in trouble.

I expect both Carson and Rubio to benefit from this, plus Trumps move to the center.

I agree. I think Ted will take a hit in the polls. Like Walker, Carly, Carson, and Jeb before him.

Ya I know because he hasn’t had any shots taken at him before now. How silly.

Fewer than 200,000 people will see these Tweets...almost all either rabid supporters of Donald, or Cruzheads.

This will have no effect on anything, whereas MANY independents and undecided voters watch the debates. 11.5 million tuned in Thursday to see Cruz self-immolate vs, Trump and Cruz. I predic t by this time next week Cruz will have lost 10 points. He's already lost a chunk in Reuters in the past 2 days.

Actually those are today’s Reuters numbers. The most recent.

Thank you.

And their more rabid supporters have fallen for it as well.

I’m not talking about the more rational group of supporters who would vote for either candidate and are bringing up valid concerns. For example, it is completely valid to question Ted Cruz on:

His eligibility
His votes for the Corker law and TPP/TPA
His commitment to securing the border and no amnesty for illegal aliens

(As a side note: I support Ted Cruz and I have these questions about him as well.)

Likewise, it is equally valid to point out flaws with Donald Trump:

His past support for liberal politicians (including the Clintons)
His liberal social views
His New York values (9/11 doesn’t give New York City a pass on their liberal, near-tyrannical views and policies)
His support of eminent domain
etc.

(Now, I could support Donald Trump as well but these concerns about him are many of the reasons I don’t trust him, at the moment)

These are legitimate questions about each candidate that should be allowed to be asked, without being called everything but a freedom-loving American!

But the shrill, nasty attacks are ridiculous. Calling Ted Cruz a phony or Donald Trump a clown is school-yard and childish!

Keep it up, children and once these candidates have destroyed each other, we’ll end up with a candidate that none of us will vote for and then say hello to President Hillary Clinton or President Bernie Sanders.

Good post. And it reflects why I tend to jockey back and forth between Trump and Cruz. Honestly, I’m not completely sold on either one. But at least I have a couple of candidates to choose from this time around.

Cruz was talking about the New York CITY and their liberal politic. If you would take the time to review what he actually said instead of how Trump twisted and lied about what Cruz said. Trumps followers are like Obama’s fan club. They are so into his rockstar status , and his utopian promises, they have no idea how he can accomplish this. And they don’t care. Trump is no conservative. Trump has changed his views for political expediency on marriage, religion, abortion etc. He has insulted various people and groups so often it’s just taken in stride. He mocked a CP reporter Said those in Iowa have no brains. But it’s all OK because he is Trump.

If Ted Cruz is so opposed to gay marriage, why did he accept money from people who espouse gay marriage?

Because of his conservative values?

... And that may be our next President.... A guy who acts like that. A guy who makes faces like a child. A guy who, when poked, retaliates by name calling and childish remarks.

Yay.

The only thing Jeb Bush has done that I approve of is in the debate when he got donnie to really lose his temper, just like a petulant child in a temper tantrum.

If anybody else can bring enough pressure to him he will crack again.

You should be used to it, after 7 years.
