Reagan/Bush. Bush was Reagan’s big mistake.
Yeah Reagan Bush was such a mistake they ruled 12-years, two landslides for Reagan and they dismantled the Soviet empire and reunited Germany.
Bush was forced on Reagan, he wasn't his choice.
Reagan/Bush. Bush was Reagans big mistake.
I'm sorry but this is just not an apt comparison. First GHWB was not an irresponsible or repulsive choice as VP. I don't think GHWB was a great president by any means and he did some things that were a bit sill (e.g. no new taxes), but he also did some things that were actually pretty good. I don't know of any president who could have gotten GWI as right as Bush I did. No one. We got in, got the job done and got out - maintaining the balance of power in the ME that ensured continued stability there.
Bush was a BIG MISTAKE.
I’ve been watching “NARCOS”. They have a lot to say about CIA George. Makes you wonder.
No-fault divorce while governor of CA.
The marine barracks in Beirut.
The tax reform act where Congress only promised "future" spending cuts.
The one-time-amnesty.
