Will anyone watch the Democratic debate this weekend?
Boston Globe ^ | 1/16/16 | James Pindell

Sunday night's presidential debate should be the most closely watched meeting of the party's candidates this year. But once again, thanks to the Democratic National Committee"s schedule, debate viewership will not be even close to what it could have been.

**SNIP**

But not only will this debate air at 9 p.m. on Sunday, in the middle of a three day weekend, but it will also run during National Football League playoff games and - dare we say - a new episode of PBS's popular series, "Downton Abbey."

Bernie’s old, too. They could just put a port-a-potty on the stage.

OH, I didn’t know they were having a debate. We’ll be watching football, if it’s on Sunday or we’ll be in the Community Garden on Saturday and then dinner with friends. Hmmm, I doubt it will be exciting, unless hellery loses her temper. I’ve heard she’s been that lately.

Nothing like the enthusiasm for Obama 8 years ago.

That’s the good news.

Cankles is still likely to become President because of the first woman President thing.

That’s the bad news.

It’s hillarious that the Dems had to grt Hillary an oppoment older and uglier than she is. If they ran anyone even remotely human, she would lose. Sanders is an ancient Marxist zombie robot. What a choice!

Campaign workers and media types including bloggers will watch I guess.

Why anyone else would is beyond me.

Calling that a “debate” is an attack on the English language.
More like a Communist Party meeting.

I think there is something on one of the 300 other channels I get. I have six or seven magazines to read. I have several hours worth of audio books.

I simply do not have the available time to spend watching those idiots.

Unfortunately for Hillary, big football games have long commercial breaks.

That means that sports fans all over the country will be switching tomorrow night from watching exciting football games to periodically viewing the terminally dull and annoying Hillary as she tries to take on Bernie.

What hooting and hollering there should be, especially in sports bars and in homes where the beer has been flowing freely.

The Democrats having their debate on Saturday night during the playoffs? That shows you they are trying to hide their agenda from AMERICA.
