Actually an interesting read and I agree that there is an ideological divide between “the base” and the establishment.
The Establishment tend to have a less patriotic and more globalist view. That means they love crony capitalism, foreign interventionism, and weak borders to allow more cheap labor into our country.
The Establishment then create political theories to express and actualize their above stated desires...
The base... Don’t give a rats ass about that. The base are America first patriots. The base wants their country back, the base wants their jobs back, and the base wants to be respected again.
