Michelle Malkin: ‘My Base Is Fed Up with Fox’ News Channel; Murdoch ‘Treacherous Bedfellow’
Breitbart ^ | 01/17/15 | Gabreil Sherman

Posted on 01/17/2016 5:14:19 AM PST by Enlightened1

Now more than ever Fox needs a firm hand on the wheel. In many ways, the channel faces the same rebellion from the grassroots that's cleaving the GOP. "I can tell you, my base is fed up with Fox," conservative commentator Michelle Malkin told me. Malkin, who quit Fox as a contributor, actually goes after Murdoch for supporting immigration reform in her new book Sold Out (she calls him a "treacherous bedfellow"). Rush Limbaugh, whom Ailes first put on television in the early '90s, has said he "no longer watches cable news." A Limbaugh friend told me the dig was made explicitly about Fox.

Several other prominent conservatives I've spoken with grumble that Murdoch is pushing Fox to be openly hostile to Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% at the same time the channel boosts Establishment candidates, most prominently Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% . "I've joked to people that they'll be doing a segment about kumquats in China and somehow they'll mention Rubio," one Cruz ally told me. Another conservative activist pointed out that Fox gave Rubio the first interview opportunity following Obama's Oval Office address on ISIS last month. Murdoch's Wall Street Journal, it should also be noted, has been one of the most aggressive Trump and Cruz critics.

Cable and FOX are not allowed in this house. All of our news is on line, so we can control what we see.

Fox was at one time our most watched news, now you can count me in as “fed up with fox”.

Try YipTV. Minimal information is required to register, but OANN is available in the free version. I downloaded the app on my phone and also watch on my laptop which can be streamed through my TV.

OANN is only $4.99 a month. That’s the cost of a movie rental.

Faux News is part of The Ministry Of Propaganda

They work for The Cheap Labor Express to try to convince Americans to give up their country without a fight.

There's a couple of things to be gleaned from this article.

1. Michelle Malkin quit Fox News. That finally explains why she's no longer on that network. I've been asking the question for months, "What happened to MM on Fox News?" Now I know.

2. We, I mean Freepers in particular, are finally being vindicated in our views that Fox News has become openly hostile to conservatism, and conservatives. They are blatantly and openly GOPe advocates. They've been leaning that way for years and have finally gone over the top. Megyn Kelly and Bill O'Reilly led the charge.

3. However, I still have a hard time with Michelle Malkin and her "supposed" conservatism. She lent her voice to the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and that's something I can't forget. If she was to walk back that endorsement then perhaps I can take her seriously again but until she does, she's not the voice for conservatism in my household.

My carpool driver in California, a Filipino man, was so in love with M.M. She’s all he talked about. (Probably not at home, though!)

OAN, One America Network, is on Verizon (#616). I just got Fios and have really gotten so I keep them on most of the time for actual news. I have not fully tuned out Fox but, OAN is much better.

I like Jeanine Pirro’s opening monologue. That’s about it.

Used to be a die-hard Fox News fan, with MeGYN Kelly, Hannity & Judge Jeanine being my favorites. Liked Greta too. Had my DVR all set just in cased I missed them.

Then the debate happened, and MeGYN is no longer welcome in my home. No longer watch Greta either, although Hannity and the Judge are DVR. MeGYN’s behavior at the debate was so unprofessional and narcissistic that I can’t stand the sight of her anymore.
Bret and Chris were not much better that night and I do not feel they are to be trusted anymore.
Guess they are going to moderate the next Rep debate....well, I won’t be watching and Trump would be smart to not participate.

Glenn Beck has such an obsession with Trump, that is all he can talk about. Almost to the point of being psychotic, which is why MegYN has been having him on her show a lot in the past few weeks. His radio program is an info-commercial for Cruz, makes me wonder if Cruz is making Glenn’s house payment.

Will be watching Michael Lynch on NewsMax at 9pm, starting Monday from now on.

I stopped watching Fox years ago when they had Al Sharpton as a guest and referred to him as “reverend”; you can’t get more “Uniparty” than that. Living in the NYC metro area, many of us have no misconceptions about this rabble-rouser POS; people died in frenzies resulting from his “community activism”.

about 12 years ago i was working in Rockefeller plaza with a LOT of liberals in the graphics dept of an investment bank.

when they found out he was across the street, they got so excited.

i said “why, he’s a worthless piece of @#$@ responsible for destroying Pagone’s entire life, the murder of koreans whose store was burnt down, definitely the reason behind some attacks on Jews as he is a rabid anti semite. He is a coke dealer and was in league with the mafia, until he snitched on them. he owes 4 million in taxes. it’s heartbreaking that the Italian guy who stabbed almost killed him. I felt so bad that day” the knew the last part was sarcasm.

you should have seen the look on their faces.

and you’re right, anyone who meets with him or has him on their shows is OUT, as far as i’m concerned.

Rudy never met him ONCE.

but rand paul did.

and Carson said they had the “same goals”

I generally dislike Rudy (he’s a “social liberal”, and his lack of an endorsement from his own son highlighted the public affair while he was still married), but I do give him credit for that. After the rabble-rousing under Dinkins, Giuliani basically removed Sharpton from the public discourse.

the hypocrite closed down 5 out of 6 strip joints on staten island yet had TWO affairs while in office, and took your car if you picked up a prostitute and got caught.

i guess that last part kept a lot of people from picking them up, which was good.

and i wouldn’t want a strip joint within a half mile of my newphews’ or nieces’ house.

i dont think he was AS liberal as people think, like Trump, you play the iiberal game in NYC.

but i could be Completely wrong. happens alot :)

living with two gay guys after his divorce didn’t help lol

His marching in gay parades was very public; he was a fiscal conservative but an extreme social liberal.

LOL Yes, she is gorgeous. My DH is smitten by her looks as well as her smarts. Of all FOX’ foxes, she is by far the one he prefers. She is one smart cookie, and IIRC she was once in the Miss America beauty pageant winning at some level. Her life story is interesting as well. It’s been some time ago it was read and a bit fuzzy, but remembering a sexual assault in her past, I think. Look up her bio and read. She’s had a very interesting life and continues to tread onward and upward.

The wife and I both stopped watching Fox some time ago, perhaps two or three years ago. While we do read the various news articles posted on the internet, Free Republic has become our source for the news.
