I keep trying to like Trump but then he says things like he did in the debate and in the days since. What's wrong with the guy? I agree with Levin. Knock it off! And I'm from New York. And yes Cruz was right about New York values.
Jesus himself knew anger, think of when he went into the temple and threw out the moneychangers. I think Trump’s angers probably started with 9/11. Right after that we started hearing Islam was a religion of peace.
For myself I do have anger when I see how much this country has changed for the worse. But Trump(and Cruz and others) represent my hope for a return to some similitude of America pre-Obama. Plus a strong voice against immigration that is designed to totally change America.
In about 2005 the US was doing quite well, real unemployment was about 4.5% and some places were having problems finding workers. Technology was finally paying off in many ways and we were getting over the shock of 9/11, but in a war over in Iraq. Then Obama came and the bottom falls out.
I don’t who or what forces or at play(where did Obama come), but all kinds of things are going on that are not good for individuals in the US or around the world.
If any country is going to change things in the right direction, it will be the US, with the right spirit at work.
I find it a little unusual that a person such as Trump, has come along at this time. And the same can be said of Cruz, Christie, Carson, Walker and Rick Perry.
I agree this has been a great dialogue with you. It has been very insightful, not biased but taking a good look at the shape of the world. Obviously we both keep up with what is going on in the many areas of society and civilization.

I assume Cruz will win Iowa and for Trump to sweep the rest of them.
And Cruz is no lock to win Iowa.
I think we are headed towards a financial crisis of great magnitude, and I don’t know if one person can stop it. But I’d would rather not have Hillary or Sanders there when it happens.
