Trump’s only record, entirely made of words,

He's a self made billionaire, a world class leader who has developed and lead hundreds of companies and projects all over the world. He's provided jobs and opportunities for hundreds of thousands. Who's this ignorant fool you speak of? I think you may want to look in the mirror.

"What a two-faced backstabber this dude is..."

Right? The funny thing is, you can look at Cruz threads from a year or so ago, and Trump threads from 2011, and you'll find some of the most ardent Trumpsters trashing their present love and gushing over Cruz.

It makes me wonder how genuine some of this Trump support really is. I have a feeling some of them are afraid to buck what they see as the FR trend.

And yeah, some are just two-faced, like you say. Hardly the type you'd want in your corner, but a good fit for Trump.

“Freepers are not the welcoming sort.” Only on Cruz/Trump threads. Venture in after eating nails or while drinking.

Well, okay. I was wrong and I’m ready to admit it. I thought it was tacky of us to criticize people because they only recently joined, but we’ve got a pattern going here and it isn’t pretty.

Some of the posters for Trump have as much of a conservative record as Trump himself.

Why did they join? Not a conspiracy theorist ... at least not much ... but it makes you wonder.

Exposing slimy hypocrites is always useful.

Trump is a liar, a miscreant, and everything else!

Except Ted Cruz. Thankfully.

He probably tried to bribe Ted like he does every other politician

I assure you, if Trump has or does try, he would succeed. As political whores go, Cruz is pretty cheap. I think TPA only cost Goldman Sachs a couple hundred thousand $.

As long as you promise to go away when Trump loses Iowa.

“I have noticed an increase in the general nastiness, yes.

I received an “F you” Freepmail, and someone I’ve always gotten along with told me to “get a room” with another Cruz supporter.

They really don’t sound happy.”

It is rather curious how they have recently ramped up the hatred toward Cruz by about a 100 decibels — taking their cue from their cult leader of course. Yet at the same time, they insist repeatedly that Cruz is finished, his poll numbers are dropping, he can’t possibly win Iowa, and even if he does, it won’t matter. If all that were true, why spill so much digital ink trashing the guy?

I am confused who he thinks is going to vote for him in the general election if he drops feces on everyone. He has made a terribly stupid move in the past week pissing off the vast majority of the conservative base. The party folks already hate him, and will never put resources in to help him win. They are far too self-interested. The Democrats will win over most all of the Democrats and a great number of independents are turned off by Trump. I have been very open to his candidacy up to now, but he started down this path in December and wisely changed course. Now, he’s tripling down on this garbage.

There is no new information about Cruz’s efforts discussed in this video to be duped. It’s just become convenient to go 180 degrees away. Guy just can’t help but be a blowhard, and that’s tough act to keep up and win 51% of the people and enough electoral states. If he thinks this NY act wins votes in any swing state, he’s going to find life outside of Manhattan is quite different.

Trump's gonna go full Captain Queeg on us. I can just see the marbles coming out.

{^) Yep!

In the milieu of classic 1940-50s WB cartoons (I'm a connoisseur), Donald Trump might have been Foghorn Leghorn, except he's not as smart as Foggy. Trump is much closer to Yosemite Sam, hot headed, usually angry about something, simpering when need be, crafty, manipulative, clever, and over-the-top bombastic. Trump even kind of looks like him, with his fly-away eyebrows.

Which character is Ted Cruz? Think of the guy who gets ol' slow-thinking hot-headed Yosemite Sam so ticked off that he ends up going to investigate the ship's cargo hold of dynamite with a lit match. Donald Trump took the lit match of the birther question and talked about how he was concerned because, why, what if he wanted to name Cruz his VP! He'd want to know he was qualified. It blows up in his face when Cruz then thanks him for the compliment of offering him the VP slot, and says, basically, "I tell you want, Donald, I'll agree to have you as VP on my ticket and if you're right and I'm not eligible, you step into the office." KABOOM in Trump's face.

Cruz is Bugs Bunny to Trump's Yosemite Sam. Kinda fun to watch for now.

Ya, Reagan couldn’t win either. But he did.

It is the fools who put their faith in the guy with no conservative record “but he can win” that keep on causing conservatives to lose.

So in your world only near billionaires are qualified to run for office.

Are you saying only people owned by Goldman Sachs or CGF are qualified to run for office? Cruz could have refused the money from Goldman Sachs and CFG and still have ten time more then what Trump has spent.

Was Trump lying then or is he lying now?

This video once again shows Trump will say anything if it will help him. He could afford to tell the truth about Cruz when he wasn’t running against him but now he’ll slander him without batting an eye.

So are Soros and Bill Gates.

You want to elect them because of their world class business skills?

In fact Trump is a piker compared to Gates. Somehow I suspect gates didn’t have to pay off politicians for political favors to make his billions.

Fool.

No, just not part of your little echo chamber.
